What If?!?!?! SVU Professors were Batman Villains

Lets get a quick Disclaimer out of the way. I thought of this A) Because I am a huge Comic book nerd my knowledge is not infallible, but it's better than some, and I do get in huge comic nerd fights, I actually got into one at SVU over the Captain America Death when a fellow comic book nerd said that the Red Skull Shot Captain America and then I simply said no... Sharon Carter Shot Captain America and she insisted that the gun was in the Red Skull's hand and I replied I was unaware the Red Skull was blonde and had a comic book girl rack. Anyway, I only argue when I know someone is wrong. So my comic book seriousness is now established. B) I was watching a trailer for the new Batman Game Arkham City, and thought, you know who would make an awesome Riddler, Scott would make an Awesome Riddler So Anne and I thought we would make a short Blog and concentrate only on Batman Villains because they are the most sadistic, colorful, intriguing and overall fun Villains out there. Well, that's our opinion I know there are others out there that are impressive like Magneto, Dr. Doom, Black Manta, the above mentioned Red Skull, Lex, and deathstroke are all impressive and good villains but Batman has a really fun cast to compare with the SVU Professors. It is also important that we state we are basing the comparison on the comic book's that we read and not the movies, so if you don't understand why we picked a certain villain for a professor read the comics to find out. So On we Go.

1) Since we already mentioned this. Anne and Agree that The Riddler would be best portrayed by Scott Dransfield. (by the way I stole these pictures from Facebook, and the school website, if any professor would rather not have their picture up on this silly blog, I will take it down for you.)

So Why did we pick the Riddler for Dransfield. Well, Dransfield is into poetry, so ultimately could write good Riddles for the Bat. He has a great laugh, not Joker sadistic laugh, but a fantastic laugh. He has a crazy sense of humor that lends itself to the Riddler's sense of Humor. The Riddler needs a lanky Character or a Charismatic Character to pull off His Body Language. So therefore we feel like Dransfield would make a good Riddler. Plus, Who better to Drive The Batman Mad and do so in such a Complicated manor that it feels like you are reading a Sherlock Holmes Mystery. Riddle laden and Full of laughs. I Think Dransfield is perfect for the Riddler.

2) Robert Stoddard is next on our list. So with his intelligence his witty charm and his stoic character Anne and I picked Ra's Al Ghul as his Batman Villain character. I think the beard could be pulled off by Stoddard. Also the relentlessness of Ra's is important to get across and if someone can be intense at the school, but a calm intense that sends the seriousness of the situation in a scary and calm way Stoddard can pull that off. He has such a politeness and calmness about him that if he were evil it would translate into terror.

3)
Karen Hufford would make a really good Harley Quinn. Why? Because she has an obsessive personality (Tom Cruise?) and that lends itself to the Quinn character. This blind obsession would lead to her following the Joker without question. Her insights into people's work also coincides with the Quinn character's past as a Psychologist. If you put her funny quirky charm and obsessions up against Harley's there is no other choice.

4) One of the best Batman Villians out there that is continuously ignored by Hollywood but could be easily done is The Black Mask. He is Brutal, unrelenting. He is Evil and Uber Violent, He is the perfect Gotham City Villain because he is tough and run's his mob with and Iron Fist of precision. He is one of the most dangerous and most respected Villain by the Batman himself. When Batman knows Black Mask is involved he is a little more careful to check the base's to make sure he doesn't get in trouble. This is the Villain he leaves Robin at home for because Black Mask doesn't aim for the Armor of the Chest, He goes for the eyes. The Black Mask is by Far the Most Sadistic (well second to Mr. J) Villain that Batman Faces. So who could be so Evil, Who could just loose it and Start a Gang that Murders just for the sake of the Body Count. I think Jeremiah John could pull that off. He has the Gusto. He has the Voice that could lead a man to pick up a gun and do what he wants with it. Dr. John could take down the Batman. He could make Billions off of Drug Money and Arm's Sales.

5)Well I wanted to Leave this Villain out but when we talk about Batman you can't really. Plus, when Anne and I got to talking about professors we wanted to include in this list we thought of a few who had to be here just because their personality abounds and must be mentioned. So with personality like The Joker's we could think of No other professor on Campus to compare than that of Dr. Jones. Not only is Jan Erik Funny to the core, but he has that contagious laugh (contagious laugh did you see what i did there) but, he is a genius and if you are a genius you should be an evil genius.
The Joker is Batman's Greatest Villain More Sadistic than even the Black Mask. Not the strongest, but the hardest for sure. His list of pain in the Batman Universe goes on. Barbara Gordon Paralyzed, Jason Todd Murdered, The Turn of Arkham Asylum from Prison to the inmates to Batman's personal nightmare, No one has fought the Bat more and had more chances to Kill the Batman Than the Joker, but he can't Kill the Batman why? Because messing with him is SO MUCH FUN!! Doesn't that just Sound like Jones, he just wants to have fun like Cyndi Lauper and the girls in 1984. Plus the body type lends himself I would love to see Jones in a Purple Suit with Tails. Plus the Joker/Riddler team ups would be off the CHAIN!!!!!

6) This next one may cause a wee bit of a stir to the three people who read my blog. However, I really think if you ignore the Cartoons on WB and the Movies I could not find a better fit for the character. In the Comics The Penguin is a Crime Lord the Bird with the Word on the Night Scene. He runs night clubs, Gangs, and even some of the reputable villains in the Batman Universe report to him. Nothing goes on in the town without him knowing and if something does go down, whoever pulled it is not only in trouble with Batman, he better watch the back door for the penguin as well. Penguin is the Lord of Crime in Gotham, and as much as Batman wants to pretend like he has things under control, the real man or bird with his pulse on the system is the Penguin. With a high intelligence level and a savvy for opportunity, and a great sense of humor Randall Cluff is the perfect Penguin.

7) My Favorite Batman Villain of All time is a quirky little guy who has the ability to control peoples mind with his little devices, He is also a little crazy and bases himself off a classic literature character. The Mad Hatter is one of the Batman's greatest pain in the sides. He can be down and not even a player at one moment and challenging Black Mask the next. He is quiet. He is brilliant. He is time oriented. He takes his punches when it is time to do so. This is the one Batman never see's coming. He takes little steps for a larger picture. So what professor can pull something like that of. Steven Baldridge is our choice.

The Bow tie Helped, Bow ties are cool.

8) Mr. Freeze is my least favorite Batman Villain, however when discussing how we going to go about whom to include we couldn't skip this professor. We decided that this professor also must be included in our first attempt. there are lots of villains in the batman world and lots of opportunities to put them side by side professors, but we don't want to include a huge amount so we had to go with a limit of ten. So this Professor fits Mr. Freeze perfectly. He isn't truly evil, he isn't mad like The Joker or Violent like the Black Mask. He only does crime because he needs to further his research to help save his wife from her frozen state. Again if you look at the adaptations in hollywood arnold didn't play a good freeze, but does that movie even count in the batman world. NO. No it doesn't. Batman doesn't need extra armor on his nipples people. anyway, The perfect SVU Mr. Freeze is Dr. Macdonnell. Just because Dr. Macdonnell could never be pure evil. HAHAHAHA..... like Jones or John or any other could, but I think Macdonnell would look awesome in the suit with the helmet and everything. the robotic voice would sound awesome with a Massachusetts accent.

9)The next on the way was the best villain in the Arkham Asylum video game, Scarecrow appears in Blackest Night with one of the most memorable moments. He is the one who brings fear into the hearts of everyone in Gotham. He has been underused until recently. He is one of the best laid out villains in Batman's vast history and as unpredictable as his villains come. Considering that the reason behind the choice is not only the occupation, but the overall ability to pull the character off, Michael Gibbons is perfect for this character.

I think his personality lends itself to this. He likes to have fun with people. He is kind of a prankster and is a kid at heart, which lends itself to having fun with peoples emotions. He is the school's counselor so he could really use that to his advantage. If I know anyone I know Gibbons could pull off the Scarecrow, because he could scare people out of their pants if he wanted too. Then he would LAUGH AND LAUGH AND LAUGH AND LAUGH and you lay on the ground with tears in your eyes and pee in your pants. We love you neighbor!!!

10)next on the list is the sickest villain on the Batman roster. Victor Zsasz we wanted to include him because he would make a great villain for the Darker Batman films. If Batman ever releases a rated R film I will be upset if Zsasz isn't included. He basically is a millionaire boy toy who gets bored and looses his mind and decides to murder children, woman, and men, innocent or not. When he kills someone he carves a place on his skin for there life. He is saving a place on his body for Batman, Robin and Catwoman. We picked the one person who could be vengeful enough to do this. plus, the fact that they resemble one another helps a lot. Coach Harmon.

Ok enough is enough. I might do another one because there was a lot of laughs at whom could portray who. We kept goofing off at Who we would put as Clay Face. We also joked around with Killer Croc. We also left some really good professors out. Like Fuentes, Rodriguez, Arogyasami, Knudson, Mosser, Armstrong, Hugh, Card, Crawford, Whitehurst, Knight, Konstantinova and Many more. lots of popular villains left out like Catwoman, Red Hood, Bane, Poison Ivy, Hush,Soloman Grundy, Batmite, Firefly, Two Face, Deadshot, Hugo Strange, Killer moth, Humpty Dumpty, Manbat, Scarface and others. Lots of Others and rare ones like the Great White Shark, Calander Man, Jane Doe, Headhunter, Flamingo Anarchy, King Tut, Prometheus,The Black Glove,Lynx,Puppet Master, Cluemaster and Onomatopoeia. This could be interesting. Feel free to comment.

86-100 whats done is done!

So, The same disclaimer here, if you don't know what is going on, Look at the first few posts in the section.

(86) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2010)

Other Potter Films don't have rave reviews by me. For example Goblet of Fire felt really rushed through and Order of the Phoenix was a little too hesitant and The Half Blood prince Pissed me off royally, I mean seriously Why would put an action sequence in the movie that wasn't even in the book, then completely ignore and cut the best action sequence from the Book, not to mention they left out a lot of explanation for the how and why's. I just thought it was a little much to get wrong in large areas. This is why I mark The Half Blood Prince as my least favorite of the series. I would rate it a 3. So now that you know I take my Harry Potter Films seriously. I must say, Anne and I went all out for this viewing. Midnight viewing, We went with tons of friends Anne and I dressed up As Tonks and Lupin. We even got on TV, although I feel bad about this, because the Television guy approached our friends Matt and Ellen, and we went over to congratulate them on getting on TV and the TV guy asked us to be on the air too. We assumed we would just be background noise to Matt and Ellen, but The TV guy ignored Matt and Ellen and asked us the questions, This made me sick to my stomach, I felt so horrible I'm not even the fan of the series like Anne is, or Matt. So I really felt bad for stealing the spot light. So if Matt or Ellen is reading this, I still feel bad about it, I know you said you didn't care, but that doesn't make me feel any better, I feel as if I wronged you. Well, that being said, On to actually reviewing this Movie. The Deathly Hallows Pt. 1. First Off The first Green lantern Trailer came out here, I was excited. I got so excited I broke my wand. Anyway, This was the best movie out of the Series, I am just going to put that forward. It's like I was reading the book, but Through the Movie, I have never seen anything in this series so dedicated to the actual storyline. Plus, Emma Watson Half naked never hurt anybody, I would just like to say around Movie 3 I said she was going to be Hot, and I was right. Just putting that out there. This movie was bar none the best out of the series, It ended at the perfect part for the Movie to end in my opinion. I was ready for Movie two when it finished out. So excited overall. A Glorious roar of 5 out 5!!

The Next 3 movies deserve a Disclaimer. I wanted to spend some time with my friend Dustin So I just went to his house and hung out. This was right after Thanksgiving and we hadn't hung out in a while. So we played some Halo and then had dinner and watched these next 3 films. Anne wouldn't watch any of them with me, So I am glad to have Dustin, because Without him I wouldn't have the next 3 films. However, the first one I talked Anne into watching, and she loved it.

(87) Dr. Horrible's Sing along Blog (2009)

This is basically a few internet clips pasted together to make a musical is has fantastic characters, fantastic and fanboy actors and actresses like Nathan Fillion, Sean Patrick Harris and Felica Day. It is nothing short of wonderful, fun, and extremely fulfilling. Here is a clip. I know you loved it. Just go watch it, because it is amazing. Go ahead and laugh, I'm a funny Guy. 5 freeze rays out of 5.

(88) Human Centipede: The first Sequence(2010)

I will get this out of the way, If you are a member of the church, You shouldn't watch this. I shouldn't have watched this, I did, It was like a really bad Car accident you don't want to see the decapitated head, but that doesn't mean you're not going to look for it. So many people have watched this and let us all know how terribly awful this movie is, How sick and disgusting this film is, How twisted... You get the point here. All that being said, I couldn't pass it up, you movie people understand. Their is a difference between something being gross and something being demented, you just have to watch, as a movie buff I couldn't let this pass me by. Dustin had never heard of it, I educated him, he agreed we couldn't skip this. So we watched it, silently, and horrified. Not only at the girls utter stupidity, but the overall actions and horror from the movie. The end, Man what I way to be left alone. I don't want to spoil anything for those of you who plan on eventually sneaking this one in. This was perfectly horrific. One of the best hopeless horror movies I have ever seen. I shake when I think about some of the scenes. This leaves me with the conundrum, was it actually fantastic or was it really bad. The plot itself, I find hard to believe, not the actual centipede thing, because that's just movie's being movie's. But the not being able to over power, the not being able to escape, the naive police. I just don't by it. Too many holes. However, the dedication and overall creepiness gives it points. So I guess I am left oddly with 3 people strung together out of 3.

(89)Thankskilling (2009)

The poster does the rest of the explanation justice. Such bad actors I swear i saw cue cards in the reflection of the sunglasses. This was just horrible. The Turkey was a hand puppet, A plastic hand puppet. Sometimes you accidentally see the guys wrist. It was that bad. The one liners though! The one liners carried the movie from beginning to end, Which i didn't do, I left before it finished. I had to include it because their was only like 5 minutes left, I just didn't want to finish it. I laughed at the ridiculous nature of this. 1 stuffed turkey out of 1.

(90) The Good, The Bad, and The Weird (2010)

Just to say a few words on this one. I loved it. The plot was well drawn together, although lost now and then throughout, it came together really nicely in the end. I thought it was funny. It was a fantastic action movie, lots of epic gun fights, One of the best Villain's of all time lies in pages of this script. It is well directed choreographed and acted. It's foreign so if you don't like subtitles don't watch it, I don't take points off for that though, because that would be stupid. I thought this movie carried itself well. There isn't a lot to say here, it was a fantastic action flick. It was a bit long winded, but not to the point where it detracted from the feel, So I give it a 4 out 5.

(91) Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman (2003)

Back to normal Movie watching for me, More DC Comic movies, Seriously I watch a lot of these. Ok, So this one is a little dated, It wasn't a very good story, It was really easy to figure out, and really it wasn't that great to begin with. It built off of the Batman the Animated Series popularity. It was like the final shot by this long list of movie that accompanied this series. It was a popular series and had lots of amazing episodes, and movies, This one was not in that company. It wasn't horrible, it was just ok. I think the animation was sloppy, because they had done so much of it they missed a lot of it that could have toned up a little. I also think the plot was not Batman worthy. It just wasn't carried out well. The Batwomen were LAME!!! They Stole From Marvel's Green Goblin with these Characters, The Total exact same weapons as The Green Goblin or HobGoblin, Not that Marvel Hasn't stole it's fair share, Don't get me started. I Could Argue for hours on how horrible Marvel is, because they basically stole every character from DC, anyway, That's neither here nor there, This is a Solemn 2 Batgoblinwomen out of 5.

(92) Predators (2010)

A lot of people complained about this one. I personally think they are looking for a bit too much out of their movies. It was a great addition to the Predators Franchise. A lot better than AVP 2 Requiem, because that movie was heaping pile of crap. This Movie started out pretty good. A free fall, just to be ambushed and have no clue whats going on. I thought the Character's were great and well played. Adrein Brody was kind of a bad cast, I understand people's complaints there. Laurance Fishburne made it rock. I loved his crazy person stuff. Topher Grace, It wasn't a surprise, but it wasn't that great of job by him, I thought he could have done better, it's like he stopped trying to act and is rolling of his That 70's Show fame. He can do better, but just doesn't. The remaining cast was pretty good overall, I liked the death scenes. The Japanese Samurai showdown was EPIC. Best way of all time. I thought the Predators were done Justice. Some people didn't like it because of the ending, but seriously, what did you expect to happen. Anyway, I don't understand all the complaints. It was a Predator movie. and for that reason I give it 5 out of 5.

(93) The Chronicles of Narnia: The voyage of the Dawn Treader. (2010)

Anne and I saw this in 3D. We didn't want too. We for some reason chose to see this at the Zeus Theater in Waynesboro Va. The only cool thing about this theater is that it has a gift shop inside of it. Otherwise It is the worst Theater in the area. Its just no Roanoke Valley View Grande, or any other Roanoke Theater. Anyway, We go and they only have it in 3D, so we just bit the bullet. No Reason for 3D the entire time. I just notice zero difference. Not like in Resident Evil. The Movie however was amazing overall. I really liked it. This is the first Time you can really feel that Jesus and Aslan are the same person, at least in film. In the book you get it almost immediately. I cried. It was the mouse. Lots of good laughs here, The Eustace Character was a great character. I liked it a lot. This was just a really fun movie. One question for the Narnia lover's out there. If they were only out of Narnia for a year or so in between The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe And Prince Caspian, And Came back and everything was hundreds of years older, how so do they return this time and Prince Caspian is the same age. This seems inaccurate to me. Maybe someone can shed some light here. It's not a criticism, It's just a puzzling factor. The Voyage was amazing. I thought the characters and everything that was involved along the way made it very substantial. Anne has read the book, I have not, I am reading them all this year, She said the Mist wasn't in the book, but she liked it because it carried the movie. She could see the point of having it there. So since I haven't read the book I can't compare the two. Perhaps my judgement will change when I do read it. for now it stands 5 out of 5.

(94) Bitch Slap (2009)

I don't recommend this. For several reasons. It's a guys movie. Not a guy like me though, maybe me when I was in High School, not now. Lots of getting up and doing other stuff until the music stopped moments. This was just pure retardedness. The plot, not even comprehensible. The action, that is worth a point. The Comedy, also worth a point. The bad acting, So bad it was great kind of thing I'm afraid so that gives it's final point. I know I am giving this a 3, but trust me, unless you are really bored, and alone, and male, and not mormon, and sleepy, this is just not worth it. I thought it was never going to end, and it's not that long.

(95) Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989)

First off, This poster for the Movie I found Is amazing!!! Second, this is the best Star Trek Movie that i watched this year, It puts them all to shame. FANTASTIC. Plus, SO FUNNY. Captain Kirk asks the best question in Movie HISTORY. "If you are god, what do you need with a spaceship?" Think about it. The Crew of Star Trek voyage out to meet GOD! How are you still reading this and not putting this movie on. If you are looking for the end of the review, fine 5 out of 5 go watch it now. Live Long and Prosper and meet God.

(96) Harry Brown (2009)

This is one of the most disturbing films I have ever seen. The opening sequence alone is enough to make most people turn it off. However, Anne and I both set through this amazed at the story, the way it played out, the utter incompetence of the police and the unexpected violence at every other corner. I did not see this coming, When I saw the trailer I thought Brittish Gran Torino. Not so much. Way different. Way different. There were times when I thought Harry Brown might have been Dexter when he was younger. Scary Guy. needless to say it left an impression on me. Anne too. She can say she hated it all she wants, but she can't deny that she remembers it, and enjoys telling people about the scenes that you are just amazed to see. It's Violent. Really Violent. I think Michael Caine is Wonderful here. I really need to watch some of his films. I love him in everything I see him in, old and new. It's just.... Wow, I mean watch it, I can't give it a 5. I can give it a 4 though.

(97) Zombie Strippers (2008)

Just No, I was expecting Zombie Movie Stupid, but Wow. Come on now. They didn't even follow Zombie etiquette. They totally had a free minds and did what ever they wanted. Even the cheap sleezyness of this film isn't enough to keep it going. It was bad people. Like really really bad. I thought it would be really funny. It wasn't. I thought at the least it is a Zombie Movie I can mark off my list. In reality it isn't even a Zombie movie. It was not good. 0 out of 5

(98) Battle Royale (2000)

Unlike number 97, This was good. Not just good, great. Violent. like 96, just not as real. I think This film may steal the show as one of the best movie I saw all year. I thought it had just as many on the edge of your seat moments as any other film i have seen. I liked the Plot line. I liked the lay out of the plot line. I liked how it got carried out. There isn't a whole lot accept for some of the cheesy parts that I can say negative about this whole ordeal. Japanese Brilliance. However, I am going to knock off a point, by calling BS on the Character's that made it. NO WAY would they have made it. Not going to happen. They would have been taken out way early like the other pansies. The Crazy Chick or the accidental deaths would have taken them. Even the evil guy would have knocked them off. No way they Survive, It kinda pissed me off, I kept waiting for them to die, but they didn't. BS. 4 out 5.

(99) Despicable Me (2010)

Watched this on Christmas Eve With Anne. We bought it for each other for Christmas, we have two copies. It was great. Funny, I love the minions. The kids were funny. I thought the voice overs were perfect. A fun and fresh plot. That will be mimicked for years to come. I am looking at you Megamind. Anyway, It was a fresh and fun and heart wrenching animated movie. I cried like 4 times. I cried laughing at the minions, I cried with Joy at the carnival scene just to continuing to cry over the fluffy Unicorn. I Cried when he lost the kids. I Cried when he got them back. Then I bawled my eyes out when he read them the book that he wrote. Oh man, there I go again crying while writing the blog. A Fantastic Fun movie for the whole family or just some dude by himself in his apartment. Anne and I both loved it. 5 ITS SO FLUFFY's out of 5

And ...........................................................

(100) The Secret of Kells (2009)

I watched this as my last movie on purpose I wanted a beautiful movie for last. I love these animators. They worked on Samurai Jack. The Animation is what makes this film, their attention to detail could carry any terrible plot all the way through to the end. However, this was a great plot and had wonderful parts, scary parts, down right evil parts, and redemption sweet redemption. This is a redemption movie. Mistakes are made and then made up for. A very religious story. A folk legend story from the shores of Ireland brought to us by the amazing animators from Samurai Jack. The Music was entrancing and the world just sucked you right in and made you shiver. 5 out of 5.

Thats it. hope you like it. Scanned it. Whatever, I had fun writing it.

76-85 Just a quick hit on this list of 100. Almost there!

Ok, So I have reviewed 75 movies a few blogs have been written so if you don't know whats going on, I suggest just going back a few posts and reading the explanation of why I will be reviewing movies that came out a long time ago.

(76) Planet 51 (2009)

This was a random I was at home and Anne and I wanted to watch a movie together. Just like most previous movies that were on the list it ended with me awake watching it and Anne passed out on the couch. This movie is a run of the mill cartoon. It didn't have anything outstanding in it. I liked the premise of it. The Humans land on a planet of other beings and they are in their planets 40's, maybe 50's. Very cool Idea. I liked the homage to the Alein series The dog was very cool. The story line wasn't the problem, I don't know what the problem was exactly it just wasn't that amazing. It was rather plain and it's not like it didn't have good jokes either, it just didn't stand out among the pack. so therefore saying that it wasn't bad, it wasn't that great either. So a plain ol' 3 out of 3.

(77) Robotech: Shadow Chronicles (2006)

Ok So, I am an Anime fan I have stated this in the past. Occasionally I look for new series to get into. I don't always succeed. My problem lies in the face I always look at series that are older. Like Robotech. There is so much of it that you just shouldn't jump in at 2006 which I did. So therefore I didn't like it. The reason I think is more than likely because I didn't understand what was going on. This lends itself to anything. If you don't know what is happening you are more than likely to not care. I think this overall was my problem here so I think my rating might be a little skewed. However, when making a movie, even it's a specific series you have to make it watchable to people who might be interested in getting into your work, so not making it watchable to a complete outsider I think is a huge disadvantage to this being good. I got through it all, it was engaging, but I never knew what was truly going on. So therefore I will give you a heads up and tell you to either watch the series before hand or read some Robotech stuff, otherwise prepare yourself to have no clue what is going on. The animation is top notch. Which will lend this movie the only point that I will give it. 1 out of 5.

(78) Kick Ass (2010)

I heard mixed reviews about this. From Cody I heard it was amazing, as well as from Dustin. From other's I heard it was terrible. This guy Ken who is like 50 always comes in and talks movies with me, He liked it too. He said it was a good shoot em up type movie with fun action. Well, I agree. Anne did not. I thought the acting and casting was great. Aaron Johnson was pulled off pathetic geek really well. Lyndsy Fonseca was as sexy as you could get as the lady friend. I like the bad guys I liked Stu Riley with the bazooka. Fun stuff. However, the show stopping show stealer was in fact my fantastic favorite revenge passionate purple princess HIT GIRL. Chloe Moretz Made it happen. Nick Cage, eh. I think they could have cast it better. Maybe not, I don't know just not a huge Nick Cage fan. I think he has played to many roles and tends to be the exact same person in all of them. This movie was amazing to the time spent in the comic book store to the hot girl action to the geeky moments. It was a bit vulgar, that may turn a few people off, and that I understand. There were times when I thought, They could have cut that. I liked the violence and the fight scenes it made the movie worth watching, It was the selling point of this film and the trademark, I mean it's called Kick Ass some some Asses are going to get kicked. I liked the whole take on Super Hero It was rather good. It was paced well It seemed like they didn't keep you out of action with storyline, even though the storyline was important and was great in its own right I thought the development of the characters and plot was quick enough and really well placed that I got a really good feel for both, while not loosing the action. I thought as far as the overall pace of the movie and feel of the movie. I thought the characters and the sub characters interacted really well together while at the same time letting you know who was who. I really like Mark Strong he makes a great Mobster, he has been in several Mobster type roles, not always serious, but he makes me laugh and convinces me that he is tough. So I guess he pulls it off. I don't think I will take off any points for the scenes that were a little unnecessary because there were only two and quite frankly I thought one of them was really funny, so I will leave it alone and give it a 5 asses kicked out of 5

(79) Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)

I did go see this in 3D, after Avatar I was skeptical to be honest, however, I did throughly enjoy this one. Even Anne mentioned that she liked this one and her whole Idea about the 3D thing. I loved this one. It was the first Resident Evil Movie where I felt it drew influence heavily from the game. I saw stuff from 3,4, and 5. Not to mention, Jill, and Chris as well as our beloved Alice. Milla once again did a great job in this I have seen every installment of this series and I have to admit I like them all very much. This one was by far the most impressive for me. It breathed a new breath into the dead lungs of the previous installments. Not that they were bad, the just weren't doing that well in the box office and people have started to skip these films, thinking they aren't going to be any good. I have news for you people who like the first one and think the rest suck. This isn't Saw. This is Resident Evil and they are all worth watching. This one is exceptional. I loved the Shower Scene, who doesn't love a shower scene with two sexy ladies!! Sorry pervs! not that kind of scene, however the axe! WOW, a testament to 3D I will say. overall a 5 zombie kills out of 5.

(80) It's kind of a funny story (2010)

I really wanted to see this movie because lets face it i like movies that have a queer twist to them. This movie did have that. Essentially the plot set up is This kid commits himself into a mental ward. He isn't really mental (or is he), but he can't get out because once your in you have stay an alloted amount of time. Here he runs into many people who change his perspective. People who are actually sick. Craziness starts from here. It's brilliant Zach Galifianakis is amazing in this. He is good in pretty much whatever he is in, but not like he was here. It was life changing really. So good. I haven't even thought about it before, but maybe he is really challenged. I don't know. That's just how good he was in this, it makes you wonder if Zach actually belongs in an institute. Zach isn't the main guy though the kid is, It opens your mind to how much people can put themselves through when really they don't have a lot going on. Mental Anguish can come from anywhere and anybody. It's an Illness and it can cripple people. This movie, however is very light hearted and although it shows you the dark side it only doesn't it in a glance so that you don't forget the point of the movie overall. It's a great story and one of the best movies I saw all year. I was disappointed that it got snubbed by so many people. I guarantee if you like movies you will like this one. Bottom line 5 out 5.

(81) Superman Batman: Apocalypse (2010)

I read the comic. It was great. The movie followed the comic pretty closely. I didn't like some of the voice overs. This of course is a run of the mill DC comics Movie. It was really well animated and had a fantastic plot. When both Superman and Batman are involved you know it's going to be good. It included Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and others. The main thing here is Supergirl. She is the point of the whole movie. If you don't like these types of movies I don't think this is for you. This is a great super hero story, it's not completely amazing though. I did like it overall I just can't find anything to say that sets this apart from most of the others. I mean there are a couple of scenes that make you say OH CRAP. Like the thousands of Doomsdays. Darkseid is wicked evil. He is the main bad guy in this. I loved the Farm scene between him and Superman. Sometimes in these Movies you loose the importance of The Batman. I felt you did that here. I don't know why Batman was even there. It was a Super family story. I don't know maybe a voice of reason. Anyway, 4 out 5.

(82)Nanny Mcphee (2005)

This is a children's movie. I loved it. I mean after all I am nothing but a big kid myself. It teaches Children not to behave badly. In doing this Lots of Hilarious things happen. Kids in the Kitchen make for a funny and messy time. I don't want to go too much into this, but the story line is well played out. Colin Firth is the father and always gives us a great show. Not much to say about this movie in the negative fashion. It was just simply a well done Children's movie with lots of good stuff for adults. Well done, nothing negative at all. It was great 5 out 5

(83) The Last Winter (2006)

Ok, So my friends and I watched this on Halloween. We have this tradition of watching crappy movies on Halloween. This was stated ahead of time. However, one of my friends friends was with us and he ruined the entire night for me. I just can't express how much he pissed me off about this movie. It was just that bad. I haven't seen this guy since. ON PURPOSE. I have even avoided get together of my friends because this guy pisses me off so much. Even with the terrible company excluded this movie couldn't save it self. Apparently dead animals come back through gas fumes to kill people. What ever, I have don't understand the concept. Ron Pearlman actually made it worse. I just couldn't handle it. The Movie didn't make since, It wasn't that scary. The mystery that made it good, didn't even make it into the movie. I thought it was just terrible because lets face it, it was. However, that's the tradition. Next year this guys won't ruin my Halloween, because he is no longer welcome in my household. 0 out of 5

(84) R.E.D. (2010)

This was another Comic Book made into a movie thing By DC comics that I just really wanted to see. It was a crazy bullet swarm action movie. Seriously I have never seen so many bullets flying in the beginning of a movie ever. There wasn't a lot of plot to it. I did like the character development, the Old people turn was really nice. I liked that you cared about people you hardly knew and there were a few scenes where you really got pissed off at the enemy. However, This movie was a big long and that detracts from the overall value of it. It did do some justice to the Comic, I thought it was good and funny. I liked the continuous drugging of the love interest. That was the best part of the comedy in the movie.looses a point for not getting to the point. I liked the hand to hand combat. 4 out 5.

(85) Star Trek 4 (1986)

This one gave me stomach cramps. It was the worst Star Trek Story ever told. I don't know why, but this was just really annoying. The going back in time, to steal a whale, I just don't know about all of this. It was just really upset at the overall performance of everyone. The special effects were not even cheesy like the other ones, it wasn't that great at all. I highly recommend skipping this one. It was ok as far as development goes but other than that, just pass it by. 1 out of 5.

Ok I will try and finish up in the next post.

Movies 61-75

by this point you should know the deal.

(61) The Crazies (2010)

I went into this thinking it was just going to be another run of the mill scary movie, It turned out to be another Timothy Olyphant masterpiece. To say I liked this is to understate dramatically. It was great. I have talked to other people who have seen this and they again didn't agree. To each their own. I might have crappy taste in movies I don't know. I loved it. It was a classic Zombie type movie. I thought the Dude with the pitchfork going nuts was amazing. I thought making the military more evil than the Zombies was true to life in this circumstance. You know they are just going to bomb the area to get rid of the disease, It's the most logical thing to do. They will try and save who they can, but in the end if you're in the middle you're dead, end of story. basically nothing is really wrong with this movie. The acting is great, The story is as good and dramatic as you can get. I loved the small town aspect of it. I thought the whole town attacking the military is near to what would happen. I also thought the rednecks hunting was fantastic. This movie was perfectly paced, great action and solid horror flick ending, although not exactly resolving, I think it was a good random Zombie style flick. A solid 5 out of 5.

(62) The Fearless Freaks (2005)

My friend Cody is a massive Flaming Lips fan. I never really listened to them heavily. I knew who they were, I liked them, I liked everything I had previously heard, I just never made it a point to become a fanmaniac of them. I had even bought an album of theirs a few years back. Cody re-introduced me to this band. I really got into them heavily and he let me borrow this and check it out. This is a documentary based on the band. I have been listening to them for a while now, and I have to say they have become their own monster. I learned a great deal about the band through this documentary and I have come to the realization that Wayne Cohen is one of those Gifted people that could have done anything with his life, He chose Music. This band is going to go down as the most overlooked band of all time. Now to actually concentrate on the Documentary. It was extremely well put together, gave you everything you could want from a Musicmentary. It was really good. If you like the Music Documentary this is one you just can't miss. Wayne Cohen takes the helm in the movie and tells you stories from when he worked at Long John Silvers and Punched his brothers in the face. It was really really good. I give it a 5 alien space ship harboring santa clauses out of 5.

(63) The Last Airbender (2010)

I was looking forward to this movie as was Anne. We loved the television series we watched it from beginning to end, we laughed, we cried, we laughed some more. Then we finished and was amazed by the animation and the entire epicness of this series. Then we saw a trailer. This trailer showed a small boy air bending and the fire nation breathing down his neck. HOLY CRAP ITS THE LAST AIRBENDER!!!!! Then we were like wait, Why is it called the last airbender, what happened to Avatar, you know the original name of this show. OH RIGHT some gay blue people took that, and those smurfs on steroids wouldn't give that up. Is that OK. Well, on the off chance that this movie isn't worth the Avatar: the last airbender's name I guess It would be ok, because the Jungle Smurfs wasn't that terrible so I guess I'll let it slide. I mean but no way is this going to suck, I mean the trailers were awesome right. I have seen turds sparkle brighter. This was terrible. Not even close to what it should be. First off uncle Iroh is not a skinny middle aged man who flaunts his powers at every corner. Uncle Iroh is a fat old man who flaunts his tea at every corner. Aang is not a cry baby little whimp. He is an emotional young man, but not a little twerp. Katara is loving concerned character, but she is strong and actually cares, and needs to be played not only by someone cute, but someone who can deliver the lines correctly. Sokka is the funny one, not the pointless one. This movie was crap. crap. crap. crap. crap. crap. I was so angry and disappointed I almost cried. I'll give it a 1 for the effects because sometimes they looked cool. 1 out of 5.

(64) Inception (2010)

At first I was going to skip this entirely. I didn't really want to see it. However, The largest reason I went to see this was the hype. All of friends went to see and were talking about how fantastic it was. So I gave in. I wasn't disappointed. Lots of people really went overboard with it, in no way shape or form is this the best movie ever made. Is it good. OH yes it is. Was it the best movie I saw last year, It' up there thats for sure. The concept is complicated, but explained perfectly. The ending is up for grabs who knows what happened. I love movies like this. This one was well put together well acted. For the most part Dicaprio is amazing. I mean he has his shutter islands. Ellen Page is fantastic I think I will watch everything she does. It was a great movie. From start to finish I liked it. You will too. 5 out of 5.

(65) Signs (2002)

I don't typically like cheap alien flicks, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Yes I do. So why haven't watched this. I never really watched the X files either, I don't have an excuse for it, I just had not seen it. I like Mel Gibson overall as an actor. I mean his other views are what ever. I just wanted to point out that he has some fantastic movies out there. This being one of them. It was slow to get started. Then all of a sudden they were chasing something around outside. What was it, who was it. I liked how they built up to it. It had irreplaceable moments like the air shaft in the basement with the little boy. If you haven't seen it, Wait for that. If you have then you know what I am talking about. Really great flick watch it if you haven't seen it. I like the way it was set up, which makes me wonder if this is the same director of the Last Airbender why did this rock and that one suck. 5 out of 5.

(66) Ong Bak 2 (2008)

If you like Kung Fu. You know about this movie. It's a straight forward Kung Fu movie, nothing but action, nothing but amazing. I don't have much to say, It's your typical nonsense plot line. Family was wronged by ninjas, pirates, thugs, whatever. So Craziness occurs. He fought an Alligator at 7. At 7. It was a great action flick. If you like those. It's not much to it. However, it is fantastic for what it is. 4 out 5.

(67) Teen Titans: trouble in Tokyo. (2007)

I loved the television show. The spin off movie was just a longer episode of the show. So it was amazing. It was full of good of beast boy jokes, robin being a pushy punk, raven being depressed, and the other two (cyborg and starfire) doing other (cyborg and starfire) things. It was a fun movie, if you have kids or you yourself enjoy cartoons (like I do) then watch it. It was really fun. Good action and a good plot that was carried throughout the movie. It wrapped up and it was easily separated from happened or will happen in the show. I give it a 5 out of 5, it got everything right and nothing wrong.

(68) Stealing Harvard (2002)

I watched this because I like Jason Lee. I mean the Kevin Smith Movies and my name is earl. Good stuff. Anyway, the craziest part of this movie is the story line. I mean tell that little girl to go F herself you didn't mean it. whatever, I thought the plot was lame, the acting was actually terrible, sometimes these actors get it right and sometimes they just don't and this time they just didn't. It was terrible. Tom Green wasn't that funny. I mean there were definite parts that were funny and some parts that were meant to be funny that was 100% not funny. I mean really terribly not funny. So not funny that it took away points from the entire movie overall. It was just poorly delivered, not that there was much there to deliver in the first point. It does get a few points, It wasn't all bad. I mean Green does make some pretty funny moments. Jason Lee didn't stink it up entirely there were moments when you could really see that it actually was Jason Lee playing that lame character. I just didn't like it, it was tolerable I guess. I would skip it though If you are looking at this as an Idea of what movies to check out. 2 out of 5.

(69) Traitor (2008)

This movie could have been a 5 out of 5. The acting top notch, but when has Don Cheadle not delivered I mean he is the Ladies man. This movie Plot had potential to be one of the best movies ever made. However, It was very long winded and explained it's plot, then explained it again, then explained it again. Then it told you the plot. I could have been cut in half. Some of the scenes were amazing. The ending was downright one of the best endings in movie history, Should you watch it, It's a good espionage movie, so if you like them yes watch it. If you don't like them stay away. It was a good movie, not a great movie though. The director Jeffrey Nachmonaoff I think made this movie drop a few notches. It was put together incorrectly, it is a movie for someone like me, but over explained to the point that it made me feel insulted. This just is not a 5 or a 4 because the long running time detracted from the movie, The plot line was good acting great, but there were tons of scenes that just needed to be cut or never filmed. So a potential 5 becomes a mere. 3 out of 5.

(70) The Gene Generation (2008)

The Gene Generation is a crazy Sci-Fi plot movie with a sexy Japanese chick as the lead. She has a Douche bag little brother, There weren't anything fantastic to say about it. The best part of this movie was the action. Lots of fantastic dramatic gun action. bullets flying everywhere. swords and stabbings. There is a retarded love story, oh wait the entire plot was retarded. It was one of those movies that isn't supposed to be that great in the first place it was just a quick gun and sword silly sci fi movie. It was good for what it is. I give it a 2 out of 5.

(71) the dark side of the moon (1999)

This was a documentary on the making of the album Dark Side of the Moon. Which is one of the most highly celebrated albums of all time. It is also one of the top selling albums of all time. I think Pink Floyd is one of the best rock bands of all time. They put out a lot of great music not only this album, but meddle, The Wall, A momentary lapse of reason and more. They really just cover this album and what was going on during the making of this album, it was nice to see an inside thought about this band was going through at this point in their life. I really liked this, I like the band and enjoyed the Documentary. If you don't like the band, why would watch this? So if you remotely like this band, then you will love this. 5 out of 5

(72) Haunting in Connecticut (2009)

This movie was littered with jumpy moments that left your heart racing. They mystery of what exactly was in that room, and why that room was creepy was fantastic. The guy who played the lead role, Kyle Gallner left a bit to be desired. I don't like this guys acting. He wants to be dark and mysterious like the twilight guy Robert Pattison. He isn't. The best thing about this movie was the plot. It was supposed to be a horror movie. This isn't. It was a suspenseful sick movie, but not sick in the good way. It was just gross stuff to be gross. The whole ghost story back story was silly and ended up being lame. However, the movie wasn't a complete loss. It was a very good idea to throw cancer on the main person to make him a weakened character. This made you pull for him even though he was kind of a douche. The fact that he was progressively getting worse helped you feel that this guy just might not make it. The ending in the movie is the best part, not because it is over, but because it wrapped up the story very well. This movie isn't great, but it's not horrible either. Just a simple 3 out of 5.

(73) Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979)

I have never seen any of the original movies so I wanted to. I watched the first one first, I wanted to watch them in order. This one was really silly, however, Star Trek is really silly. When looking at the graphics it was a really good for 1979, probably the best of 1979. I thought the amazing ship that was the enemy of the movie was well done. However, the contrast between the enterprise and the enemy ship was crazy. The ending was Hilarious, I thought it was good for what it is. I thought it was a perfect first movie for the Star Trek franchise. I could never take Star Trek seriously it is a great Science Fiction franchise, I love the characters the characters are amazing. Some of the best character development in the history of entertainment belongs to Star Trek and that is why Star Trek is what it is and what it is is amazing. I am not a Trekky. I can't name very many of the characters outside of the main list. If you are a Star Trek fan you have already seen this. If you are looking into getting into to Star Trek, you should watch this one. Don't watch them all. I will go over all of them in this blog over time. The first one is good. A quality 5 out of 5

(74) Batman: Under The Red Hood (2010)

I liked this overall. I thought some the action was amazing. I liked the fact that they finally put some good Nightwing action in a new movie. I love the animation that DC comics is coming out with. This movie was no exception. It was great. Fantastic overall movie. The largest let down was the Joker, Horrible voice casting. HORRIBLE. more of a Italian mobster than a deranged lunatic. It just didn't fit the character. This is the a great rendition of this story I love the Jason Todd character. I loved all the other character renditions. I am a real stuck up prick when it comes to my comic book characters. However, this one other than the Joker were very well done. The story was great, the plot easily carried out. The timing was great and the transactions smooth. If you like Superhero Animation movies you will like this one. 5 out of 5.

(75) Percy Jackson the Lightning Theif (2010)

The Storyline is extremely close to Clash of the Titans. The son of a god and a mortal is the protagonist. The Story basically breaks off from the comparison to clash of the titans from here. It takes a lame turn. Zeus's Lightning bolt went missing and The gods think Percy took it. Only problem is, he didn't. So he has to figure out who took it. Apparently the gods of myth are really horny because there is a huge training camp for their illegitimate kids to train in. Really freaky. Freaky in the way that these gods have all of these kids. I mean a huge training camp full. The story goes on and the female protagonist gets introduced. She was more of man than the entire cast of men including the old men at the end, I'm not sure she wasn't a male. The movie moves along pretty fast, the special effects weren't that great. They were not horrible but just not good. The whole flying shoes thing. Stupid, not the idea of the shoes just the way this movie carried out the use of the shoes. The lighting bolt was used more like a laser gun than a lighting bolt. It wasn't horrible. It was just ok. It didn't suck, just 3 out of 5.

Ok. 3/4 of the way there.
