Movies of 2011 11-15, The Reviews.

Well, Hello there.

Thank you for visiting my Blog. Anne. I am pretty sure Anne is the only one who will actually read this. It's cool I enjoy writing the reviews.

So in case you dear reader are not my wife I should probably explain what these blogs are about. Every Year I set a goal of watching 100 new movies. Not New as in they were just released, but new to me. These are movies I have not seen. Some could be new releases, but some could be older movies that I had not had the chance to watch. I have the first 10 previously reviewed. The next few are in this Post. Enough about me on to the movies.

(11) The Social Network (2010)

This was part of our Oscar Run. We try around the Oscars to watch a lot of the movies that are nominated. Hence why the last three movies in the previous blog were Oscar nominated. As a matter of fact The next few movies will also be Oscar nominations.

The Social Network. This is the so called true story of what happened with Facebook. This of course interested me because, well I use Facebook. This was a movie i was excited to see. I do like Jesse Eisenberg. The Social Network was a straight forward story about what happened, or at least one side of the story. I don't want to pretend I know what actually happened, it's not like I was at Harvard. If I were, I wouldn't have been part of the cool club. Basically this movie wasn't exactly a thrill ride. It wasn't exactly boring either. It was a bit nerdy basically a computer nerd sticks it to the jocks by expanding on an Idea that they had. They built a social network. This social network obviously took off and became something huge. Even though I like Jesse Eisenberg overall sometimes I worry about his range. He plays the socially awkward guy who ends up with girls and riches and then inevitably a Spine. Basically Eisenberg has stolen Michael Cera's characters. I know I enjoyed Zombieland as well. However, that doesn't negate the fact that Eisenberg kind of reminds me of Cera.

Social Network was compelling. It was a great story told in quality fashion. The Movie moved at a nice pace, it was a run of the mill Hollywood blockbuster which is what the majority of everyone out there enjoys. Although I enjoy the off kilter movies I also enjoy the Hollywood blockbusters. I know that they are directed toward the masses and that isn't a bad thing, but it's not exactly the type of film I actively like to watch. However this has nothing to do with what I actively thought about the movie.

The Movie was well done, like previously stated it was compelling and the pace was good. The acting was believable, it didn't exactly move me. Fincher did an O.K. Job. Nothing here that stands out as poorly done. It was executed extremely well. The soundtrack was awesome, I liked the nod to Napster and how it was done. This overall internet revolution could spawn a bunch of good true story movies. This one in particular was a great Biography. There is debate about how true this movie actually was. Did they or did they not get the facts straight. My question to you is, Is this a Movie? So, why exactly do you care? People can read the books. It's not that hard. Anyway I actually award this movie a solid 5 out of 5. It's storyline, pace, acting, paneling, and score were great. I have no negative things to say about this movie. Nothing outwardly positive either, but I can't honestly not give it a 5 just because it doesn't stand out amongst the crowd. It was solid on every level.

(12) Winter's Bone (2010)

Winter's Bone is again part of our entire Oscar run. It was nominated for a ton of Oscars, I think it even won a couple. It was a Sad story of a Young lady who lived alone with her dad, who was a piece of crap. This got him murdered, and left this young daughter with two small children to fend for. The way she does it really reminds you that America isn't all Coffee and SUV's. For some people it is hard work. This Girl doesn't know what happened to her dad. The Police won't help, they are too concerned in taking the two younger kids into foster care. The neighbors help by giving what food they can. The girl gets herself into lots of trouble by dealing with scary people.

There is a few things wrong with this movie and a few great things with this movie. The first thing is the good stuff. The acting was great Jennifer Lawrence, pulled her role off without a doubt. Their was good suspenseful moments in the storyline. Lots of terrible things happen. There were some moments where my mouth dropped open and Anne hid her eyes in disgust. These are what make great movies. Then there was the uncle played by John Hawkes who I love, his name was teardrop. This was a movie about pure white trash who I grew up around. It was like peering into the lives of the people who you didn't really want to actively talk too, because you knew that you didn't want to get involved in their lives. I just sounded like a prick, but I don't exactly know how to put it. I was nice to these people. If they needed help I helped, I didn't make fun of them the way that others did. I just didn't want to be involved in their lives. I would still play ball with them and hang with them. I just didn't want to visit their homes.

Negative things. I think the movie ran over the allotted time for a movie of this stature. There were scenes that just re-said what was gone over. It was like the director had a touch of O.C.D. and couldn't stop repeating the same process over and over. Another thing I felt like the story itself took away character traits that are important in movies. I never did understand the big deal of the kids being taken away to foster care. The parents were out of the picture, I don't understand how the older sister didn't see that the kids would be better off in foster care and her life would be a lot easier if she didn't have to deal with her fathers mistakes. I know family is important, but in this situation I truly felt the main character was being a selfish little brat. The children would have been better off in the long run. Everyone would have been better off if she would have just let the government do their job. It's not like she wouldn't be able to be a part of their lives. She could have always been their sister. She just wanted to be their mom. So that being said I never was attached to the characters and thought overall the Main character was wasting her time. All the beatings were for nothing. So with these two major negatives I can only give this movie a 3 Redneck backhands out of 5.

(13) Black Swan (2010)

My Friend Chris Zwart who has become quite the movie buff, told us we had to watch this. So when it came time for the Oscars we did. Anne and I watched it. We actually got into a huge argument over it. I won't share what the argument was about but it involved me commenting on how hot Mila Kunis is. Lets face it, She is dead sexy. Anne might get pissed when she reads this, but it is true. If you don't believe me ask Cody Shafer about Mila Kunis.

Oh yeah so this is a review of the movie, not about how Hot Mila Kunis is. Wait.. let me just prove my point really quickly.
And I didn't even post any of the provocative pictures. By the Way all my pictures in all my blogs come from Google Images, just so that that is out there. What are we talking about oh yeah, So Mila Kunis is on that 70's Show, and she is in this movie Extract that I watched last year that i highly recommend for all us Mila fans. .... This is not a Mila Kunis section is it. It's about Black Swan, which has MILA KUNIS in it and she is So very beautiful and talented and man on man is she smoking hot. Plus, she has a lesbian scene with the other person in this movie. It's weird I don't understand why Natalie Portman got all of the hype for this movie, I mean MILA KUNIS is in this.

Ok, so to be serious. This movie was about a transformation into the Crazy zone. Not sure if anything in the movie actually happened or if Portman's character was just going insane. I lean toward the going insane part, but that's to be left up to you as the viewer. Is this as raunchy as they say it is. It's not exactly Pornography, but yes it's pretty raunchy. It has several scenes that Adult only. Especially the Scene that was aforementioned. They did a great job with the transformation and the acting by Portman and Kunis is remarkable. It was a thrill through and through. However, The raunchy part did actually in my opinion take away from the end result of the movie. It could have been left PG and would have gone over better and not caused quite the stir. Lots of people love this movie. I for one thought it was a one time watch. Most movies like this are. It was a good strong showing. Just not the best movie I have seen all year and to be perfectly honest it got going really terribly slow almost to point of falling asleep before the good stuff happens. If Mila Kunis wouldn't have been in it my attention span would have left long before the movie had a chance to show it's brilliance. Plus, no real closure. The Character didn't honestly pay for any of her transgressions. It was a just a crash derby in crazyville away from being a load of horse manure. However, the character losing her mind was the whole story plot, So therefore I give it a 4 Mila! Mila! Mila! out of 5.

(14) Easy A (2011)

Ok I just spent the entire last blog going on and on and on about how Hot Mila Kunis is. Well, Mila Kunis isn't in this movie. However EMMA FREAKING STONE IS! If Mila Kunis is hot then Emma Stone is a white star. She is so hot that if you touch her it feels cold at first before your entire body burst into a blue flame and your skeleton vaporizes. This is Emma's first movie where this is her movie, she is the lead roll and she nails it. This movie was hilarious. There were parts in this movie where Anne missed it because she was crying from the tears in her eyes from laughing. It was good. Emma did great. The other cast members did well. However, This was a cheesy teen-pop-comedy and was not an original plot in any way. So There fore with the lack of originality and overall plot failures, due to the plot being overused this movie didn't score as high as it could have. The plot had a lot of holes in it, and it was completely predictable. However, this does not negate the fact that A) Easy A was funny. B) Emma Stone is Hot. So therefore it's important to know that you should totally rent this. Not solely because Emma Stone is hot, but because Emma Stone is hot and it's funny.

(15) SALT (2011)

So, on with the Oscar stuff like the movies before. Yes, Easy A was up for some sort of Oscar I think it was Hottest Actress of the Year. This however had Angelina Jolie in it. Not up for that part in my book. Not sure if the majority of the world agrees with me, but I don't exactly think she is the Bee's knees. More of a sub-par actress who relies on her chest size to entertain America. So. Salt was a great action flick. There were some scenes that were just absolutely action packed with good explosions. There was a car scene that was one of the best since the last Bourne movie. It didn't have very many downside's to the action part. The storyline was a little weak. Apparently, There is a Spy who knows about a Spy who doesn't know that they are in fact a Spy. Kind of retarded. Plus, Russia. Still. Why are we still considering Russia as a active participate as a bad guy in our movies. Get with the times people. Russia hasn't been a threat to the U.S. of A in a decade. How about China, or pick a country in the Middle East. Even Japan. Lets get rid of our Russia anxiety already. Move on. Bottom line this is a 2 stern look that i can't really see because i am too busy staring at your cleavage out of 5

Ok. So the next blog will have Zombies, Super Heroes, and girls killing stuff with Kitanas. Enjoy.

Movies of 2011, 6-10.

So A yearly goal of mine is to watch 100 movies I haven't seen before. New movies to me not to everyone. Just movie's I haven't seen, that I should have or have been told I must see. Please refer to Movie's 2011 first post for basic rules of rating and reviewing the movies. Basically 0=worst 5=best. Not complicated. 4= is good. 3= average 2=skip 1=bad. So on with the movies then.

(6) Frozen (2010)
I really wanted to see this. James Slagle had mentioned it in passing so I looked up the trailer on Youtube. Here's the deal. It's a horror survival story. I forced Anne to watch it with me. she wasn't thrilled that I wanted her to watch it with me. She watched it, She even halfway enjoyed the beginning. It wasn't until the the protagonist showed up in their gang that she decided she hated it. At that point I realized, I in fact liked it. We discussed in length how would we get out of this predicament. The movie actually did a wonderful job of going through all the options we came up with and why they wouldn't or couldn't work. I thought it was done really well. The ending wasn't typical it wasn't the greatest movie I saw all year. It had it's issues, probably do to budgeting. The lines weren't exactly executed well. I am not even sure some of the actors had even been on camera before. However, it wasn't bad enough to detract from the movie. It may have just been bad writing. So I can't fault the Actor's for that. 4 frozen snot strands out of 5.

(7) Serious Moonlight (2009)

Anne wanted to watch this. It was a fun a quirky twist on the romantic comedy. This is one of those movies that have a lot going for it, but it is a romantic comedy in the end. Things just keep going downhill for the characters in this movie. The classic bad to worse to unmentionable to amazingly happy transitions. Completely predictable outcome. With this being said. There was some saving grace along the way. The little things were there. Ryan and Hutton had decent chemistry throughout. Kristen Bell brought herself to the party, and not much else. I have never been impressed with her. Justin Long was in this movie. I think he is funny, this wasn't his best work. I think he needed money and took this. Now that I have gotten the bad things out let me focus on some of the better things. The story although predictable, was well played out. It never let down, the pace was good. Which by the way isn't noticeable for most romantic comedys. This movie wasn't boring, It was border line exciting. Exciting isn't a typical word for a romantic comedy. The storyline was well done, not over the top, but just good fun. The Comedy side was light hearted laughter, no gut busters. It wasn't bad, it wasn't amazing either. So 3 out of 5

(8) Valentines Day (2010)

This is one of those Star Studded movies with several plot lines that eventually cross paths. The main path in my mind was the Ashton time line. It was the sweetest and had the best outcome. Cooper's was fun and it ended well. I liked some of the other one's but none stuck out as heavy as Ashton's. He isn't the top name in the movie, but like most things that he is involved in he stole the show. I am not positive everyone would like this movie, but I have to say it was one of the best mash up movies I have seen. Some really cute parts as well with the kids involved. It really made the movie. 4 out of 5.

(9) Toy Story 3 (2010)

Toy Story 3 was great. I have loved this series from beginning to end. This one didn't let down. I really liked it. It was depressing, but such a great story. This movie didn't really remind me that I was watching a kids movie. I was just blown away by this one. Great action scenes. Mr. Potato head was great. There were scenes that made you laugh. Then Their was the scene in the dump. I cried. No. Not Cried. I wept deep. I had a good hard cry during that scene. I really honestly thought they were going to end the movie this way. It could have ended that way. It was completely possible. Thankfully it did end in a good way. Their was a ton of good in this movie. A perfect ending to a perfect series. This was a perfect movie. It had great bad guys, good horror. Loss, and Love. The ending. It was great. 5 out of 5.

(10) Kings Speech (2011)

Anne drug me to this. I had not heard anything about it. She just said that she really wanted to see it. I gave in and we went to see it. Anne put it best. Sometimes you go to see movies and you say that was a great movie but every now and again you go to the movies and you see a great film. Kings Speech was a film. It was in a different class than other movies. This was griping. True. Touching. The Acting was above the bar. Reset the bar. Colin Firth was everything that the character needed. He did the King Justice. Geoffry Rush was great and inspiring. This movie is well known, and for good reason. The setting was spot on. The story was intriguing and you caught yourself pulling for the characters. When you heard the record play you choked up. With the speech you cried. With the frustration you felt frustration. It was a very affectionate and very moving. Sometimes a Film leaves you with a feeling that you know the people that were in the movie. The Degree this film was at is far beyond anything that I had seen in a very very long time. If you haven't seen this. You are missing out. 5 out 5.

Anne Cliffe Entsminger, This is what you have done!!!!

So, Today I realized something that I thought I already knew about my life with Anne.

(this is going to be mushy and destroy my manhood, so to all my gentleman friends and other guy friends, because lets face it just because you are male and my friend doesn't put you in my gentleman friends column. {Yes I am looking at you Dustin} you should now click away from this page.) (I suggest googling Sarah Underwood on G4tv)

Anne is 100% my soul mate. Here are three reasons that I came across today. The main one being the last.

1) She handles the money. At some point around I don't know 7 or 8 years old I had my first job. This job was gardening for Ashli's Grandma. I didn't do much, but made some cash. At this point with money in my hand that I worked for, I realized I didn't want anything to do with keeping up with it. As I grew older, the fact that I don't like to keep up with my money lead to me spending and not keeping track, which caused issues and eventually I realized I had to keep track. Which sucked. I tried to get my mom to keep track, she didn't want to. So when meeting Anne and marrying her she wanted to keep track and budget. For all the love that is pink and chocolate coated. ( I assume that's what love looks like since that is what you see on Valentines day ) I never have to keep up with money again. If we need something a simple text does the Trick.

For example: Hey Anne, Can I get that thing we need for this contraption to work? Anne replies: Yes. Get yourself some coke as well. (Coke as in Soda, not Coke as in crazy white feel good powder)

How Sweet is this deal. She is happy, I am happy. Fanfreakintastic!!!

Ok So....

2) The second reason I know Anne is my soul mate. She can entertain herself. There are loads of time in this life when the only thing I want to do Is drink my Cola and play video games until I am so dizzy I have to take a potty break. Most women, at least that I see on T.V. and a few ladies who hound the dog fecal matter out of their husbands when they are playing video games wouldn't have this. I don't do it everyday, but when It is my video game time, she splits. She either reads a book, watches stuff on the Computer or does Crafty type things, like Family History, Scrapbooking or sewing. Sometime's she turns all Brandon and plays video games until she is dizzy, I return the Favor by burying myself in comics. This is whats cool about Anne.

Also on this list included with number two is when my guy friends come over, she is the same way!!!! I do almost always check to make sure she is cool with it, even though she always is. I know guys who have been married longer and have NO traditions with their guys night out. I have a monthly guy night where I go to Dustin's or He come's to my house and we watch silly movies about monster's being homosexual in a heterosexual monster society or Rednecks being victims of angry teenagers Or Trolls and Tires. Anyway, Anne is always cool with this. Also, if that new video game comes out and Justan or Dane or Dustin and I have to pull an All niter to get through it. Guess who doesn't care as long as she can go to sleep. Man what a cool wife!!!!

3) The third and most important reason, and the visual inspiration that caused me to write this short blog. I cleaned up the Washing Machine at our new place for her. Yes, it sounds trivial, but let me explain.

Hair is Gross.

Sick-nasty fish soup sandwich on vomit bread gross.

Some people can deal with that hair in corner of the bathroom floor, or that hair around the drain of the Bathtub. I CANT!!!!! Anne knows this. Anne regularly cleans things so that i don't get grossed out.

Lets get one thing straight before the ladies out there get all defensive. I am hairy, It's not a secret. I do my best to clean up after myself. It's other people's hair that makes me turn white and swallow my own vomit. If I Shave I wipe down the sink. If I trim my beard, I wipe down the sink. I clean the tub after I shower (sometime's, I am a dude and therefore forgetful. It's in our Genes, I don't know why women get so upset when guy's forget stuff.)

So, why is me cleaning out our new Washing Machine prove that Anne is my soulmate? We got it from a.... Brace yourself for the horror (Imagine X-file's type music here) HAIR SALOON!!!!!! Did I spell Saloon right it could be Saloon (where guys go to drink, play cards and dandle the handle with loose ladies) Not sure. Oh hey my train of thought is blowing it's whistle at me......Oh.

So having a washing machine from a out of business Hair (insert correct spelling here) mean's one thing. A Machine full of other people's hair. Oh, GROSS-SAUCE. So today I went and got a part for the Machine, fixed it. Then I looked inside and saw the machine in all it's guts and gore, which was worse than any horror movie. Ton's of people's hair I DO NOT KNOW!!!! King can't write a more horrific scene for me than this tie die hair filled lewd Smut filed tub of raunchy debauchery. There were black's, whites, reds, browns. kinda like the color of dog barf after they break into the lucky charms. It was obscene.

This horrible scene rendered me incapacitated, and unable to digest lunch properly and for sure made an ulcer act up, I've never had one, but I am sure that was the feeling it gave me. Some of you may be laughing right now I assure you, if cousin IT hugged me I would probably run away crying. Hair freaks me right the Math out! I used to freak out when I sit behind a girl in class and her hair hit my desk, SO NASTY. Anyone ever notice how I always sit behind guys or girls with pony tails or short hair, that's not a coincidence. One time I went to class and sit behind this girl (whom i am friends with) She had her hair in a pony tail so I thought it was safe. 10 minutes into class she took it down and every so often tossed it, I am guessing so it would dry evenly. However, this tossing would catch me every so often on the hand, then a few loose hairs ended up on my note book. I silently freaked out and left class early. You laugh, but screw that. Yuck!!!

Long story short. After gearing up for the job
and having my trusty Mean Green Orange Clean handy with some bleach for good measure. I went After the Dastardly hair.

After 20-40 Pace type gags. A shower and sanitizer. I was done.

This is why Anne is my true soul mate, because if she wasn't I would have left it for her to do.

The End.

Movies of 2011!

Holy Cow I am Starting Early this year. So a quick recap if you haven't read these post of mine before. Every year, well this is just the second year. I challenge myself to watch 100 movies i haven't seen before. It sounds like that would be an easy task, it is easy, but time consuming. I run into to life difficulties though. It's not always easy to find time in between work, school, life stuff, house stuff, wife stuff and stuff to get these movies watched. For instance it's almost October and have to get in 23 movies before the end of the year. This number isn't as bad as last year, but I have lots going on. A new work adventure that will take up a lot of my time, we are moving, so not exactly a good time to watch a flick.

Now there are rules to this. simple rules but rules. I can watch any type of movie. Action, Drama, Documentary, Comedy, or my favorite Horror, well not Horror I guess Stupid Horror is the best way to describe it. I have lots of nights with my friends watching movies that are well interesting. I have to count a movie if i Watched over half of it. Because lets face it, some movies aren't worth finishing. Also the most important Rule. It has to be new to me. I could not have seen this movie before. So you won't catch any repeats on my list. If you want to find a certain movie you will have to go back through blogs, because I won't be covering it again. This makes the blog a little wishy washy, because I watch movie's from all eras, I haven't been good with old movies yet, but that's why I do this list so that I can do old movies when I have time. I have a huge list of Older Classics that i need to get too. I also don't count remakes, If I get the new Star Wars DVD's I won't count them as new movies, I have seen them.

Ok Rules over. I base them on a scale of 1 being horribly unwatchable to 5 which is add this to your collection. So the scale is officially below. If you want to see it again you will have to search through my blogs to find it. Which I encourage you to read last years movies there were some great ones in there. So Scale.
0.) If a Movie gets a zero than it's not even really out there at all. It doesn't breath the movie air.

1. )Don't watch this. Even if someone says it wasn't that bad, they are trying to trick you into wasting your life as they did. Don't WATCH THIS MOVIE. EVER. EVER.

2.) This movie has a few redeeming factors, you wouldn't be wasting your time, but I don't recommend you seeing this.

3.) It's ok. There is nothing stand outish about it, it's a run of the mill movie, but hasn't quite made it to the film category. Maybe you should even stop by a redbox or put it in your Queue.

4.) It's good, not great, I suggest this movie overall to anyone who would like to watch it. I think the Movie has what it takes. Rent it, Buy the DVD, I wouldn't run out and get the Blu-ray or Special editions though. But by all means go see this movie.

5.) HOLY CRAP THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME!! No Flaws outright, and you should most definitely add this to your collection, because no collection is complete without it. You Should Not Turn Down a Chance To See This.

Ok, so I have to admit my four and five's tend to tick people off. Some of my 3's people thought were wonderful. I don't give out a lot of fives. If it's a four, that means I really liked it. So if you see one of your movies that you adore with a three or a four. (that rhymed) I just don't think it's amazing quality. Still really good, but not stand out from the crowd good. So on with my first 5 movies of 2011!!!

(1) Tangled (2010)

My wife Anne really wanted to see this. You know what... So did I. I love Disney, if you don't you are lying to yourself. Disney gives quality Movies. What I think is funny is I just spent the last paragraph talking about how I don't give out 5's well newsflash this one gets a solid 5. Maybe I started the year off with the best movie out of them all. Music check, some of the best Disney scores of all time. Comedy, OH YEAH. I was laughing so hard at the now coined "Bipolar scene" I cried I laughed, I may have even peed a little. So hilarious. Romance, of course It's Disney. It was childish romance, but that's exactly what you expect from Disney. It really was the perfect Disney movie it covered all the basis. Drama, Depression, Evil, Magic, goons, and visuals were just outstanding. the Lantern scene come on if you didn't well up a little, what is wrong with you. I don't want to ruin this for people who haven't seen this, but wow, this movie is one of the greats. I strongly urge you to get around with your guy friends and put this on and really appreciate it for what it is. laugh out loud glory. I honestly have to say, it surpassed all expectations and quickly became one of my favorite films of all time.

(2) Leap Year (2010)

Right of the box I want to say this was the Amy Adams movie, not the Spanish movie of the same name. Again, this was an Anne pick. Solely an Anne pick I might Add, I wasn't against it by any means, because I am open to anything, especially with Amy Adams because she is the new Meryl Strep. Matthew Goode was great in this, Stole the show quickly. It's a run of the mill romantic comedy. Boy and Girl are getting married. Fly to foreign country (Ireland this time) Girl finds local boy, finds out soon to be Hubby isn't great, but loves local chap, Love, marriage. The whole nine yards. However, this had a few nice twist. I thought the comedy was with good timing. Adams was good, which was unusual, because she is generally amazing. I thought the chemistry between Goode and Adams was on point. The car part was the height of Comedy. I just thought it was a little lop sided and you really didn't a good feeling for the whole of the story. I need to explain that better. I never really felt like Adams had it for the Goode character, the A Ha Moment came far to late in the film and there wasn't any real sexual tension, just tension. For that reason I can't give this movie out as an active recommendation. However, Ireland look beautiful. So I give it a point for Ireland. A point for Adams and Goode, and one last point for the twist's that I am not giving away. So a 3 cliche clover in Ireland out of 5.

(3) Prince of Persia (2010)
The second Disney movie out of 3, i assure you this trend doesn't continue. The Previews didn't look bad, Anne and I both really wanted to see this, so when we curled up to watch this it was a positive experience going in, coming out. Well, less than enthusiastic. Jake Gyllenhaal in my opinion didn't pull this off. He wasn't rustic enough. He didn't pull off a distinctly Arabic character. They really should have cast someone who was authentic it distracted from the movie. Way more than something like this usually bothers me. You're not going to cast a skinny Irishman to play Shaq in a Shaqumentary and you shouldn't cast a skinny American to play Dastan who is a distinct Arabic character. It didn't work. it shouldn't have worked. The story was a mash up well thought out, but poorly executed mess. Gemma Arterton was breathtaking and a good fit. Ben Kingsley actually didn't do a good job, it's like you could see the failure in expected in his eyes. I just don't think this film had what it needed. I like Gyllenhaal overall, but this wasn't a role for him. Most Video Game movies disappoint this as no surprise did that. I have to say the effects were extremely well done and the battles were well choreographed that helps the score a bit. You should see this movie just for some of the effects with the sand of time, and to make fun of Jake as he stumbles around looking stupid in Arabic clothing. A shaky 3 out of 5. So close to giving a 2.

(4) Up in the Air (2010)

George Clooney and I have a love hate relationship. Either I love his movies or I hate them. This one goes into the Love category. I don't think it was his performance although he had his moments. It was the pacing and shots in this movie. The lack of Dialogue was the best part. The unsaid points that were made sold this. It was one of those movies where the silence takes you by surprise. Let the Music do the work. The storyline was original. It was Americana. I liked the attitude the movie gave and I liked the supporting actress Anna Kendrick. I thought she lent a comedic overtone that the movie tone desperately had to have, especially as the turns came in the movie as Alex Goran played beautifully by Vera Farmiga displayed her colors. There are some short comings. Few as they are, they are still there. I thought the movie ran on about twenty minutes too long. There were scenes regardless of how cute they were, just were not important and drug out a bit too long. This is the one thing that annoys me about movies, especially the so called main stream but still quirky films like this one. Sometimes, just leave it unsaid. It's perfectly cool to not over emphasize a character's sorrow or happiness. Just let it flow, don't use filler to hit that two hour mark that you feel that you have to hit to have a good movie. If it doesn't flow than it takes away. This was my one problem with this. I got up and wondered around a few times because it just dragged by so freaking slow. It wasn't boring, just slow and for that you only get a 4 where you could have had a 5.

(5) The Proposal (2009)
There isn't a lot about this movie I didn't like. That being said, I don't think it was that great. It was perfectly cute, dull at times, but fun. I think the Woods scene and the shower slash working out scene was also funny, but it was a typical romantic comedy. Unlike some that will come later on the list it didn't really offer something that wasn't in the genre before. I liked the Sandra Bullock being the boss thing. She looked really good in this movie, where a few previous movies she had started to show her age. She was sexy in this one, which took me by surprise, because usually once you have lost it it's gone, I guess she still has it. Plus, Ryan Reynolds are you kidding me, I love this guy. His delivery is spot on great. It's that smerk that really sells it. Of course it's his specific delivery that makes his movie's his movies. I mean Reynolds stole Wolverine Origins from Jackman, Blade 3 from Wesley, and Smokin Aces from Piven. End of story Reynolds is the man. This isn't the only movie he is in on this list being the nerd I am you know Green Lantern is popping up somewhere. However, Bullock and Reynolds alone can't save this movie from my 3 out of 5. It's not that it's bad, it's not good either, It just is. that's why it goes in the middle spot.

That's it for now. I will do plenty more soon enough. These first 5 aren't exactly out there or unexpected, for that I apologize, but i did watch some rather strange quirky and soul raping movies. Stay tuned for the likes of the "homage to No reason" The country side of Scandinavian and it's governments big secret. A few rednecks in a barrel plus a sprint to the finish line and a few personal geek out nerdy documentary's that you probably won't ever want to watch. Oh , and a Poop ton of Super Hero movie's. Thor, Green Lantern, Captain America, Emerald Corps, Green Hornet, Scott Pilgrim and Grown ups.

What If?!?!?! SVU Professors were Batman Villains

Lets get a quick Disclaimer out of the way. I thought of this A) Because I am a huge Comic book nerd my knowledge is not infallible, but it's better than some, and I do get in huge comic nerd fights, I actually got into one at SVU over the Captain America Death when a fellow comic book nerd said that the Red Skull Shot Captain America and then I simply said no... Sharon Carter Shot Captain America and she insisted that the gun was in the Red Skull's hand and I replied I was unaware the Red Skull was blonde and had a comic book girl rack. Anyway, I only argue when I know someone is wrong. So my comic book seriousness is now established. B) I was watching a trailer for the new Batman Game Arkham City, and thought, you know who would make an awesome Riddler, Scott would make an Awesome Riddler So Anne and I thought we would make a short Blog and concentrate only on Batman Villains because they are the most sadistic, colorful, intriguing and overall fun Villains out there. Well, that's our opinion I know there are others out there that are impressive like Magneto, Dr. Doom, Black Manta, the above mentioned Red Skull, Lex, and deathstroke are all impressive and good villains but Batman has a really fun cast to compare with the SVU Professors. It is also important that we state we are basing the comparison on the comic book's that we read and not the movies, so if you don't understand why we picked a certain villain for a professor read the comics to find out. So On we Go.

1) Since we already mentioned this. Anne and Agree that The Riddler would be best portrayed by Scott Dransfield. (by the way I stole these pictures from Facebook, and the school website, if any professor would rather not have their picture up on this silly blog, I will take it down for you.)

So Why did we pick the Riddler for Dransfield. Well, Dransfield is into poetry, so ultimately could write good Riddles for the Bat. He has a great laugh, not Joker sadistic laugh, but a fantastic laugh. He has a crazy sense of humor that lends itself to the Riddler's sense of Humor. The Riddler needs a lanky Character or a Charismatic Character to pull off His Body Language. So therefore we feel like Dransfield would make a good Riddler. Plus, Who better to Drive The Batman Mad and do so in such a Complicated manor that it feels like you are reading a Sherlock Holmes Mystery. Riddle laden and Full of laughs. I Think Dransfield is perfect for the Riddler.

2) Robert Stoddard is next on our list. So with his intelligence his witty charm and his stoic character Anne and I picked Ra's Al Ghul as his Batman Villain character. I think the beard could be pulled off by Stoddard. Also the relentlessness of Ra's is important to get across and if someone can be intense at the school, but a calm intense that sends the seriousness of the situation in a scary and calm way Stoddard can pull that off. He has such a politeness and calmness about him that if he were evil it would translate into terror.

3)
Karen Hufford would make a really good Harley Quinn. Why? Because she has an obsessive personality (Tom Cruise?) and that lends itself to the Quinn character. This blind obsession would lead to her following the Joker without question. Her insights into people's work also coincides with the Quinn character's past as a Psychologist. If you put her funny quirky charm and obsessions up against Harley's there is no other choice.

4) One of the best Batman Villians out there that is continuously ignored by Hollywood but could be easily done is The Black Mask. He is Brutal, unrelenting. He is Evil and Uber Violent, He is the perfect Gotham City Villain because he is tough and run's his mob with and Iron Fist of precision. He is one of the most dangerous and most respected Villain by the Batman himself. When Batman knows Black Mask is involved he is a little more careful to check the base's to make sure he doesn't get in trouble. This is the Villain he leaves Robin at home for because Black Mask doesn't aim for the Armor of the Chest, He goes for the eyes. The Black Mask is by Far the Most Sadistic (well second to Mr. J) Villain that Batman Faces. So who could be so Evil, Who could just loose it and Start a Gang that Murders just for the sake of the Body Count. I think Jeremiah John could pull that off. He has the Gusto. He has the Voice that could lead a man to pick up a gun and do what he wants with it. Dr. John could take down the Batman. He could make Billions off of Drug Money and Arm's Sales.

5)Well I wanted to Leave this Villain out but when we talk about Batman you can't really. Plus, when Anne and I got to talking about professors we wanted to include in this list we thought of a few who had to be here just because their personality abounds and must be mentioned. So with personality like The Joker's we could think of No other professor on Campus to compare than that of Dr. Jones. Not only is Jan Erik Funny to the core, but he has that contagious laugh (contagious laugh did you see what i did there) but, he is a genius and if you are a genius you should be an evil genius.
The Joker is Batman's Greatest Villain More Sadistic than even the Black Mask. Not the strongest, but the hardest for sure. His list of pain in the Batman Universe goes on. Barbara Gordon Paralyzed, Jason Todd Murdered, The Turn of Arkham Asylum from Prison to the inmates to Batman's personal nightmare, No one has fought the Bat more and had more chances to Kill the Batman Than the Joker, but he can't Kill the Batman why? Because messing with him is SO MUCH FUN!! Doesn't that just Sound like Jones, he just wants to have fun like Cyndi Lauper and the girls in 1984. Plus the body type lends himself I would love to see Jones in a Purple Suit with Tails. Plus the Joker/Riddler team ups would be off the CHAIN!!!!!

6) This next one may cause a wee bit of a stir to the three people who read my blog. However, I really think if you ignore the Cartoons on WB and the Movies I could not find a better fit for the character. In the Comics The Penguin is a Crime Lord the Bird with the Word on the Night Scene. He runs night clubs, Gangs, and even some of the reputable villains in the Batman Universe report to him. Nothing goes on in the town without him knowing and if something does go down, whoever pulled it is not only in trouble with Batman, he better watch the back door for the penguin as well. Penguin is the Lord of Crime in Gotham, and as much as Batman wants to pretend like he has things under control, the real man or bird with his pulse on the system is the Penguin. With a high intelligence level and a savvy for opportunity, and a great sense of humor Randall Cluff is the perfect Penguin.

7) My Favorite Batman Villain of All time is a quirky little guy who has the ability to control peoples mind with his little devices, He is also a little crazy and bases himself off a classic literature character. The Mad Hatter is one of the Batman's greatest pain in the sides. He can be down and not even a player at one moment and challenging Black Mask the next. He is quiet. He is brilliant. He is time oriented. He takes his punches when it is time to do so. This is the one Batman never see's coming. He takes little steps for a larger picture. So what professor can pull something like that of. Steven Baldridge is our choice.

The Bow tie Helped, Bow ties are cool.

8) Mr. Freeze is my least favorite Batman Villain, however when discussing how we going to go about whom to include we couldn't skip this professor. We decided that this professor also must be included in our first attempt. there are lots of villains in the batman world and lots of opportunities to put them side by side professors, but we don't want to include a huge amount so we had to go with a limit of ten. So this Professor fits Mr. Freeze perfectly. He isn't truly evil, he isn't mad like The Joker or Violent like the Black Mask. He only does crime because he needs to further his research to help save his wife from her frozen state. Again if you look at the adaptations in hollywood arnold didn't play a good freeze, but does that movie even count in the batman world. NO. No it doesn't. Batman doesn't need extra armor on his nipples people. anyway, The perfect SVU Mr. Freeze is Dr. Macdonnell. Just because Dr. Macdonnell could never be pure evil. HAHAHAHA..... like Jones or John or any other could, but I think Macdonnell would look awesome in the suit with the helmet and everything. the robotic voice would sound awesome with a Massachusetts accent.

9)The next on the way was the best villain in the Arkham Asylum video game, Scarecrow appears in Blackest Night with one of the most memorable moments. He is the one who brings fear into the hearts of everyone in Gotham. He has been underused until recently. He is one of the best laid out villains in Batman's vast history and as unpredictable as his villains come. Considering that the reason behind the choice is not only the occupation, but the overall ability to pull the character off, Michael Gibbons is perfect for this character.

I think his personality lends itself to this. He likes to have fun with people. He is kind of a prankster and is a kid at heart, which lends itself to having fun with peoples emotions. He is the school's counselor so he could really use that to his advantage. If I know anyone I know Gibbons could pull off the Scarecrow, because he could scare people out of their pants if he wanted too. Then he would LAUGH AND LAUGH AND LAUGH AND LAUGH and you lay on the ground with tears in your eyes and pee in your pants. We love you neighbor!!!

10)next on the list is the sickest villain on the Batman roster. Victor Zsasz we wanted to include him because he would make a great villain for the Darker Batman films. If Batman ever releases a rated R film I will be upset if Zsasz isn't included. He basically is a millionaire boy toy who gets bored and looses his mind and decides to murder children, woman, and men, innocent or not. When he kills someone he carves a place on his skin for there life. He is saving a place on his body for Batman, Robin and Catwoman. We picked the one person who could be vengeful enough to do this. plus, the fact that they resemble one another helps a lot. Coach Harmon.

Ok enough is enough. I might do another one because there was a lot of laughs at whom could portray who. We kept goofing off at Who we would put as Clay Face. We also joked around with Killer Croc. We also left some really good professors out. Like Fuentes, Rodriguez, Arogyasami, Knudson, Mosser, Armstrong, Hugh, Card, Crawford, Whitehurst, Knight, Konstantinova and Many more. lots of popular villains left out like Catwoman, Red Hood, Bane, Poison Ivy, Hush,Soloman Grundy, Batmite, Firefly, Two Face, Deadshot, Hugo Strange, Killer moth, Humpty Dumpty, Manbat, Scarface and others. Lots of Others and rare ones like the Great White Shark, Calander Man, Jane Doe, Headhunter, Flamingo Anarchy, King Tut, Prometheus,The Black Glove,Lynx,Puppet Master, Cluemaster and Onomatopoeia. This could be interesting. Feel free to comment.

86-100 whats done is done!

So, The same disclaimer here, if you don't know what is going on, Look at the first few posts in the section.

(86) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2010)

Other Potter Films don't have rave reviews by me. For example Goblet of Fire felt really rushed through and Order of the Phoenix was a little too hesitant and The Half Blood prince Pissed me off royally, I mean seriously Why would put an action sequence in the movie that wasn't even in the book, then completely ignore and cut the best action sequence from the Book, not to mention they left out a lot of explanation for the how and why's. I just thought it was a little much to get wrong in large areas. This is why I mark The Half Blood Prince as my least favorite of the series. I would rate it a 3. So now that you know I take my Harry Potter Films seriously. I must say, Anne and I went all out for this viewing. Midnight viewing, We went with tons of friends Anne and I dressed up As Tonks and Lupin. We even got on TV, although I feel bad about this, because the Television guy approached our friends Matt and Ellen, and we went over to congratulate them on getting on TV and the TV guy asked us to be on the air too. We assumed we would just be background noise to Matt and Ellen, but The TV guy ignored Matt and Ellen and asked us the questions, This made me sick to my stomach, I felt so horrible I'm not even the fan of the series like Anne is, or Matt. So I really felt bad for stealing the spot light. So if Matt or Ellen is reading this, I still feel bad about it, I know you said you didn't care, but that doesn't make me feel any better, I feel as if I wronged you. Well, that being said, On to actually reviewing this Movie. The Deathly Hallows Pt. 1. First Off The first Green lantern Trailer came out here, I was excited. I got so excited I broke my wand. Anyway, This was the best movie out of the Series, I am just going to put that forward. It's like I was reading the book, but Through the Movie, I have never seen anything in this series so dedicated to the actual storyline. Plus, Emma Watson Half naked never hurt anybody, I would just like to say around Movie 3 I said she was going to be Hot, and I was right. Just putting that out there. This movie was bar none the best out of the series, It ended at the perfect part for the Movie to end in my opinion. I was ready for Movie two when it finished out. So excited overall. A Glorious roar of 5 out 5!!

The Next 3 movies deserve a Disclaimer. I wanted to spend some time with my friend Dustin So I just went to his house and hung out. This was right after Thanksgiving and we hadn't hung out in a while. So we played some Halo and then had dinner and watched these next 3 films. Anne wouldn't watch any of them with me, So I am glad to have Dustin, because Without him I wouldn't have the next 3 films. However, the first one I talked Anne into watching, and she loved it.

(87) Dr. Horrible's Sing along Blog (2009)

This is basically a few internet clips pasted together to make a musical is has fantastic characters, fantastic and fanboy actors and actresses like Nathan Fillion, Sean Patrick Harris and Felica Day. It is nothing short of wonderful, fun, and extremely fulfilling. Here is a clip. I know you loved it. Just go watch it, because it is amazing. Go ahead and laugh, I'm a funny Guy. 5 freeze rays out of 5.

(88) Human Centipede: The first Sequence(2010)

I will get this out of the way, If you are a member of the church, You shouldn't watch this. I shouldn't have watched this, I did, It was like a really bad Car accident you don't want to see the decapitated head, but that doesn't mean you're not going to look for it. So many people have watched this and let us all know how terribly awful this movie is, How sick and disgusting this film is, How twisted... You get the point here. All that being said, I couldn't pass it up, you movie people understand. Their is a difference between something being gross and something being demented, you just have to watch, as a movie buff I couldn't let this pass me by. Dustin had never heard of it, I educated him, he agreed we couldn't skip this. So we watched it, silently, and horrified. Not only at the girls utter stupidity, but the overall actions and horror from the movie. The end, Man what I way to be left alone. I don't want to spoil anything for those of you who plan on eventually sneaking this one in. This was perfectly horrific. One of the best hopeless horror movies I have ever seen. I shake when I think about some of the scenes. This leaves me with the conundrum, was it actually fantastic or was it really bad. The plot itself, I find hard to believe, not the actual centipede thing, because that's just movie's being movie's. But the not being able to over power, the not being able to escape, the naive police. I just don't by it. Too many holes. However, the dedication and overall creepiness gives it points. So I guess I am left oddly with 3 people strung together out of 3.

(89)Thankskilling (2009)

The poster does the rest of the explanation justice. Such bad actors I swear i saw cue cards in the reflection of the sunglasses. This was just horrible. The Turkey was a hand puppet, A plastic hand puppet. Sometimes you accidentally see the guys wrist. It was that bad. The one liners though! The one liners carried the movie from beginning to end, Which i didn't do, I left before it finished. I had to include it because their was only like 5 minutes left, I just didn't want to finish it. I laughed at the ridiculous nature of this. 1 stuffed turkey out of 1.

(90) The Good, The Bad, and The Weird (2010)

Just to say a few words on this one. I loved it. The plot was well drawn together, although lost now and then throughout, it came together really nicely in the end. I thought it was funny. It was a fantastic action movie, lots of epic gun fights, One of the best Villain's of all time lies in pages of this script. It is well directed choreographed and acted. It's foreign so if you don't like subtitles don't watch it, I don't take points off for that though, because that would be stupid. I thought this movie carried itself well. There isn't a lot to say here, it was a fantastic action flick. It was a bit long winded, but not to the point where it detracted from the feel, So I give it a 4 out 5.

(91) Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman (2003)

Back to normal Movie watching for me, More DC Comic movies, Seriously I watch a lot of these. Ok, So this one is a little dated, It wasn't a very good story, It was really easy to figure out, and really it wasn't that great to begin with. It built off of the Batman the Animated Series popularity. It was like the final shot by this long list of movie that accompanied this series. It was a popular series and had lots of amazing episodes, and movies, This one was not in that company. It wasn't horrible, it was just ok. I think the animation was sloppy, because they had done so much of it they missed a lot of it that could have toned up a little. I also think the plot was not Batman worthy. It just wasn't carried out well. The Batwomen were LAME!!! They Stole From Marvel's Green Goblin with these Characters, The Total exact same weapons as The Green Goblin or HobGoblin, Not that Marvel Hasn't stole it's fair share, Don't get me started. I Could Argue for hours on how horrible Marvel is, because they basically stole every character from DC, anyway, That's neither here nor there, This is a Solemn 2 Batgoblinwomen out of 5.

(92) Predators (2010)

A lot of people complained about this one. I personally think they are looking for a bit too much out of their movies. It was a great addition to the Predators Franchise. A lot better than AVP 2 Requiem, because that movie was heaping pile of crap. This Movie started out pretty good. A free fall, just to be ambushed and have no clue whats going on. I thought the Character's were great and well played. Adrein Brody was kind of a bad cast, I understand people's complaints there. Laurance Fishburne made it rock. I loved his crazy person stuff. Topher Grace, It wasn't a surprise, but it wasn't that great of job by him, I thought he could have done better, it's like he stopped trying to act and is rolling of his That 70's Show fame. He can do better, but just doesn't. The remaining cast was pretty good overall, I liked the death scenes. The Japanese Samurai showdown was EPIC. Best way of all time. I thought the Predators were done Justice. Some people didn't like it because of the ending, but seriously, what did you expect to happen. Anyway, I don't understand all the complaints. It was a Predator movie. and for that reason I give it 5 out of 5.

(93) The Chronicles of Narnia: The voyage of the Dawn Treader. (2010)

Anne and I saw this in 3D. We didn't want too. We for some reason chose to see this at the Zeus Theater in Waynesboro Va. The only cool thing about this theater is that it has a gift shop inside of it. Otherwise It is the worst Theater in the area. Its just no Roanoke Valley View Grande, or any other Roanoke Theater. Anyway, We go and they only have it in 3D, so we just bit the bullet. No Reason for 3D the entire time. I just notice zero difference. Not like in Resident Evil. The Movie however was amazing overall. I really liked it. This is the first Time you can really feel that Jesus and Aslan are the same person, at least in film. In the book you get it almost immediately. I cried. It was the mouse. Lots of good laughs here, The Eustace Character was a great character. I liked it a lot. This was just a really fun movie. One question for the Narnia lover's out there. If they were only out of Narnia for a year or so in between The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe And Prince Caspian, And Came back and everything was hundreds of years older, how so do they return this time and Prince Caspian is the same age. This seems inaccurate to me. Maybe someone can shed some light here. It's not a criticism, It's just a puzzling factor. The Voyage was amazing. I thought the characters and everything that was involved along the way made it very substantial. Anne has read the book, I have not, I am reading them all this year, She said the Mist wasn't in the book, but she liked it because it carried the movie. She could see the point of having it there. So since I haven't read the book I can't compare the two. Perhaps my judgement will change when I do read it. for now it stands 5 out of 5.

(94) Bitch Slap (2009)

I don't recommend this. For several reasons. It's a guys movie. Not a guy like me though, maybe me when I was in High School, not now. Lots of getting up and doing other stuff until the music stopped moments. This was just pure retardedness. The plot, not even comprehensible. The action, that is worth a point. The Comedy, also worth a point. The bad acting, So bad it was great kind of thing I'm afraid so that gives it's final point. I know I am giving this a 3, but trust me, unless you are really bored, and alone, and male, and not mormon, and sleepy, this is just not worth it. I thought it was never going to end, and it's not that long.

(95) Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989)

First off, This poster for the Movie I found Is amazing!!! Second, this is the best Star Trek Movie that i watched this year, It puts them all to shame. FANTASTIC. Plus, SO FUNNY. Captain Kirk asks the best question in Movie HISTORY. "If you are god, what do you need with a spaceship?" Think about it. The Crew of Star Trek voyage out to meet GOD! How are you still reading this and not putting this movie on. If you are looking for the end of the review, fine 5 out of 5 go watch it now. Live Long and Prosper and meet God.

(96) Harry Brown (2009)

This is one of the most disturbing films I have ever seen. The opening sequence alone is enough to make most people turn it off. However, Anne and I both set through this amazed at the story, the way it played out, the utter incompetence of the police and the unexpected violence at every other corner. I did not see this coming, When I saw the trailer I thought Brittish Gran Torino. Not so much. Way different. Way different. There were times when I thought Harry Brown might have been Dexter when he was younger. Scary Guy. needless to say it left an impression on me. Anne too. She can say she hated it all she wants, but she can't deny that she remembers it, and enjoys telling people about the scenes that you are just amazed to see. It's Violent. Really Violent. I think Michael Caine is Wonderful here. I really need to watch some of his films. I love him in everything I see him in, old and new. It's just.... Wow, I mean watch it, I can't give it a 5. I can give it a 4 though.

(97) Zombie Strippers (2008)

Just No, I was expecting Zombie Movie Stupid, but Wow. Come on now. They didn't even follow Zombie etiquette. They totally had a free minds and did what ever they wanted. Even the cheap sleezyness of this film isn't enough to keep it going. It was bad people. Like really really bad. I thought it would be really funny. It wasn't. I thought at the least it is a Zombie Movie I can mark off my list. In reality it isn't even a Zombie movie. It was not good. 0 out of 5

(98) Battle Royale (2000)

Unlike number 97, This was good. Not just good, great. Violent. like 96, just not as real. I think This film may steal the show as one of the best movie I saw all year. I thought it had just as many on the edge of your seat moments as any other film i have seen. I liked the Plot line. I liked the lay out of the plot line. I liked how it got carried out. There isn't a whole lot accept for some of the cheesy parts that I can say negative about this whole ordeal. Japanese Brilliance. However, I am going to knock off a point, by calling BS on the Character's that made it. NO WAY would they have made it. Not going to happen. They would have been taken out way early like the other pansies. The Crazy Chick or the accidental deaths would have taken them. Even the evil guy would have knocked them off. No way they Survive, It kinda pissed me off, I kept waiting for them to die, but they didn't. BS. 4 out 5.

(99) Despicable Me (2010)

Watched this on Christmas Eve With Anne. We bought it for each other for Christmas, we have two copies. It was great. Funny, I love the minions. The kids were funny. I thought the voice overs were perfect. A fun and fresh plot. That will be mimicked for years to come. I am looking at you Megamind. Anyway, It was a fresh and fun and heart wrenching animated movie. I cried like 4 times. I cried laughing at the minions, I cried with Joy at the carnival scene just to continuing to cry over the fluffy Unicorn. I Cried when he lost the kids. I Cried when he got them back. Then I bawled my eyes out when he read them the book that he wrote. Oh man, there I go again crying while writing the blog. A Fantastic Fun movie for the whole family or just some dude by himself in his apartment. Anne and I both loved it. 5 ITS SO FLUFFY's out of 5

And ...........................................................

(100) The Secret of Kells (2009)

I watched this as my last movie on purpose I wanted a beautiful movie for last. I love these animators. They worked on Samurai Jack. The Animation is what makes this film, their attention to detail could carry any terrible plot all the way through to the end. However, this was a great plot and had wonderful parts, scary parts, down right evil parts, and redemption sweet redemption. This is a redemption movie. Mistakes are made and then made up for. A very religious story. A folk legend story from the shores of Ireland brought to us by the amazing animators from Samurai Jack. The Music was entrancing and the world just sucked you right in and made you shiver. 5 out of 5.
