Brandon Plays Old Games: Far Cry 3

So, A Running Blog. I Like These. They make me feel warm and cozy about life. I started this a while back and Decided to comment on games as I play them. I TAKE FOREVER to play games and I'm cheap when it comes to games so I find myself playing older games on a consistent basis.

It starts out with the overall story base. The main enemy here as far as I can tell at this point, is introduced right off the bat. Vaas. This Story line is not your typical story line. I'm almost half way through the game at this point and I kind of want Vaas to win. I hate the main character that you play as. Jason Brody. He is such a bitch. Now, maybe that's on purpose because he will harden throughout the game. I don't know as of yet. I do know that you find other characters and story arcs as you go through. For instance, Government plots that you need to help move along so you can gain information about your friends. Friends who I must say as a person I hate each and every one of them. So Video games have gotten really good over time and this is just way over active on the writing and reactions. However, there are enough good game play moments to make it tolerable.

here are some fun moments so far.

I was walking through the woods on my way to an enemy base and I hear something. I'm like, is that a Bear, where the hell is this Bear. I look all around. I look beside me, behind me, In front of me and behind me again. Man that bear sounds so close but where is it. Oh Well, Marching on. Boom It's now standing right in front of me. It promptly kills me. Awesome.

I'm just walking along a bank picking flowers. I get grabbed by a Gator, I'm screwed I think. Nope I totally kill it with my Knife.

Enemy bases are the most fun at this juncture in the game (I just saved Oliver). It offers enough challenge for it to be fun, but not so much where it's tedious. Sometimes, I just shoot the cage where animals are being kept and the animal literally kills the entire base and I capture it. The best is when a random animal wonders in and all the enemies run after it. It gives you three or four things when that happens. The opportunity to Mark everyone so you don't have the random guy show up out of nowhere. The animal will always kill at least one of the enemies for you. Typically, if you're fast enough you can run in while their attention is elsewhere and deactivate the alarm. You always want to deactivate the alarm. It's a huge pain in the rear if you don't and they activate it for backup. You might as well kiss the extra XP goodbye if that happens. Spary and Pray people.

Arrow Vs. RPG. Arrow wins every time.

I've gone on a few "Kill" Missions, but no hunting missions. They were fun. I went on one particular one and just set the entire building on fire.

You get to burn a bunch of pot fields. To which your character just gets really high and starts laughing, and a Reggae song takes over your sound and you can't even hear what's around you. As you burn the fields and blow up the boat it gets Hilarious.

Saving Oliver was also a cool mission. I like quick Sniper missions like that. If you're quick enough they go by fast and furious.

Hang Gliding is way more fun than you would think.

Things I don't like. So. Far.

Dogs. Radio Towers(not exactly a challenge so far.), The "Drug" missions where its the lame just push forward and watch, I hate those in video games. %90 of the characters and story line. Driving.

Part 2: Picking up after my first bit of play.

So, I started off picking off a few of the extra play things on the boards. They tend to be a little easier, but I had a really tough time with Glitches during this one. I would be on a hill barely near the camp site and they would all get triggered and run at me.

Then I played some story line, This part you had to infiltrate a boat.  It glitched out like crazy. First time out I tried to take a jet ski over and sneak aboard the men aboard heard the jet ski which made it impossible to get onto the boat.

The water had sharks in it. I haven't gotten far enough yet to be able to easily take them out. So swimming wasn't a thing. Then, once I got on board I was quickly dispatched by like three thugs with shotguns.

Reload, because I died. Boom it drops me straight in the water no jet ski. OH NO!!! Sharks!!! I just swim for the ladder man.

Reload, because I died. Maybe the sharks belly is full or it will spawn the Jet ski. No such luck.

Reload, because I died. Swim for it. Made it the ladder, climb aboard right into a pack of angry foes.

Reload, because I died. Screw this, I'm going to reload checkpoint from the menu. Lets try something different. OH MAN!!! there is a hang glider near by. Lets climb that hill and just glide over there. Nope, Invisible wall I drop directly into the middle of three sharks.

Reload, because I died. maybe, I just messed up with the hang glider, I'll try it again.

Reload, because I died. Well that doesn't work at least I'm loading on land. Back to plan A. Jet ski. I ride over get on board. Zero enemies loaded. Maybe the game just felt sorry for me. I'm prowling around. I find the door I'm supposed to open. The enemies drop from the sky and when they land they all die instantly. Well, I guess I'll go loot the bodies. Thanks for not working correctly.

Getting through the inside of the boat was pretty fun. Lots of sheer panic from the enemies as their buddies drop dead right beside them.

You have to swim out of the boat at the end. It was ok, It tried to snare you with panic, but I noticed that your health bar doesn't actually drop under water during this section. Glitch, possibly.

I went through a tunnel maze after this. one part I tried to be stealthy and it just wasn't working so I just went full assault weapon and slaughtered everyone in sight.

Snakes lots of them. Easy to kill, just a minor annoyance. The puzzles could have been figured out by a 3 year old. Then the go to escape right away before you die thing, with no actual urgency behind it. This game tries to get you to move quickly, but it doesn't matter so ultimately any sense of urgency you should be feeling lacks that extra push you need for the adrenaline rush.

Part 3: Third play.

Third sit down with this game. I took the time to hunt and upgrade everything. Did a few Skull Missions and a few hunting missions. The hunting missions are annoying.

Fully upgraded a few things. Unlocked several skill points. Still on the Missions with Buck. I went through quite a few of those fetch missions. I didn't exactly do them too stealthy this time, I'm not sure If I just wanted to hurry up or if I've just at that point where I don't care as much.

I did enjoy the mission in the caves/ mines. Basically, there were sticks holding up rocks and if you hit the sticks. Smoosh. Splat. You get the Idea. Funny stuff.

Guess what, Buck Turns on you. Descent triggered button timing Knife fight. I wish it was 4 times as long. It would have been more fun that way.

There was another weird drug induced mission. I hate those.

Also, a drug induced Boss fight, where you Fight a Spirit Demon. Serpentine, Well placed Easy timed shots and it was over.  When you woke up the main lady (queen) is all naked and stuff. I can't say it was unexpected, but it was a cheesy brainless plot point.

So, We're Killing Vaas Now. Yeah, like we didn't realize that was going to happen. So there is a trap set up and there is a Cargo shipment the tribe and you are attacking. It's full of Militants who you later find out are just the new harder to trick version of the normal Pirates.

the Truck gets away you chase it down, Boom It's Vaas. Enter the hardest part of the game so far. You're captured, all of stuff is taken. You have to get to the Helicopter quickly. If you're seen a timer starts. I struggled with this. I have to admit I leaned too heavily on the Bow and I'm not as good at being sneaky. I eventually figured out running for it wasn't going to work. So I approached more like an enemy camp and it worked out. I disarmed the alarm and sneaked through.

It meant nothing. So, I get back all my crap. That part wasn't easy either. Then It's time to go after Vaas. I had to restart it, because the first time I jumped off a roof to the outside of the compound, because It told you. "Escape the Compound" and I was like, Ok, I'll just jump out. Nope, It meant through the enemies. Luckily they had some Tigers cages, So I blew up the big gun, Released the tigers and watched as they took out almost all of the AI. A few Silent take downs and onto the Boss fight.

The Vaas Boss fight was LAME AS CRAP. They have spent this entire game building one Villain up and instead of giving you a good hard shoot em up, they give you lamest gun in the arsenal. They put it in a dream sequence and you wake up with out the satisfaction of being able to Tea bag the lifeless Body. As a matter of fact you never even really see the body, so I'm %100 positive he isn't even dead.

We then get to go to the next Island. There's a timed fire fight in there, but it was entirely too easy.

We get to the new island, meet the new characters. Then another weaponless stealth mission, this one was super difficult. I realized quickly that these AI's are a lot better than the Pirates that preceded them. Utlimately, I got through it all. It took me at least 3 or 4 tries, not quite as many as the stealth to Helicopter thing or the stupid Gimmick filled Vaas Boss fight, but it took me a couple of attempts.

Once through, it tells you. You will blend in with the AI just don't make any weird moves. So I'm like well disarming alarms will be a snap. Fist thing I do when I have the cute little suit on. I go to an enemy base to free it up. I just casually walk right in everyone goes beserk and starts shooting. Then the game tells you. OH BTW this little perk is useless because most areas are restricted and they will attack intruders on sight. So, why exactly did I go through the trouble of stealing the suit?

Well, Time to go through the Island and Climb Radio Towers and Liberate Camps. That's next on the list of things to do.

Play Through 4:

Climbed a bunch of Radio Towers and Liberated a bunch of camps. Well, In two different camps the animals literally did all of the work. Camp one, A Bear. I knocked out the guy with the sniper rifle to give the bear a chance. The bear finished off the entire camp from there. I had to take down the bear. Camp two, A tiger. I hit his cage, he killed everyone but one guy. I hit him in the head with a Sniper bullet. Blue Flag up. Easy.

Other than Towers and Camps I did a few missions. I'm really getting a little too close to the end here. I looked and I only have a handful of missions left. I would like to do some side stuff in the next play through. I'm enjoying the game for the most part so need to enjoy playing it all the way through.

In the missions first I went into a camp full of guards dressed as one of them and had to stealth take down 3 captains. I did really quite well on this. I cleared the bottom and middle section with ease. A little help from a Komodo Dragon. Section B I chanced it a bit with two of the larger armored guys. Luckily I have upgraded for the stealth kill to take out Armored guys as well. That Knife Kill after a stealth kill is SUPER HANDY. I've used it a lot. especially in the "Kill challenges" It's extremely handy. Section C, I rushed a bit. I got the first few guards without incident. Got into the cave took out Captain number 2. Still no issues, Walk outside and like 6 or 7 new guys spawn. I walk into the building on the left. I survey the situation. One guy in here. I take him down. Turn around 3 more guys spawned in the building as I killed the one. They went Bananas I had to just start mowing down some bots I finally got rid of the non stop pop up pawns. I'm completely out of bullets in my SMG and Assault Rifle. I sneak around and the rest have lost sight of me, I say screw it Pop up Assassinate the last Captain Arrow to the Face to the last two guards and walk away.

Mission number 2 Blitzkrieg. You basically run into a camp under attack from pirates. They look like Vaas's guys. This uh. Doesn't make since. If Vaas was working for the guy you and the German dude are pretending to work for. Why are Vaas's men attacking the compound. Why bite the hand that feeds you type of thing. I died twice. Why? because it was like 11:30 PM, I ate a lot of food and needed to go to bed. HOYT that's the main bad guy. Well at least so far, I expect a turn. I mean possibly Willis is really the bad guy? Maybe I'm the bad guy? I don't think so. Vaas is alive. This I'm certain of. Even if he doesn't come back in this game, He will show up at some point. I digress. This one is lots of point and shoot quickly, which I admit is normal game play, but it can get your blood moving if you don't pay attention and have too many guys coming at you.

I hit up a few challenges after this. My next play through will be mostly non-story line quick play stuff. Maybe I'll finish up making the islands safe and liberating camps so I can move about a little more freely for the rest of the game. Knock out some hunting challenges and some kill challenges. I might just focus on finding all of the letters as quickly as possible, I finished buying up the maps so I can run around and quickly grab all of that stuff. I'm definitely just going to marking off stuff during the next play through. I would guess two maybe three more plays and this one will be done.

Play Through 5:

So, I did a little bit of the side play stuff and a few missions. I climbed every tower and opened up the map completely. No achievement for that. Bull. I liberated every camp to make the island easier to traverse without randomly getting into fights. I bought the rest of the weapons. I did a few hunting missions. Took down 3 bears with a pistol. The hunter syringes helped out a lot.

I also realized that I had a part of my skill map blocked off because I wasn't reading the fine print. I had to buy 3 Body armors. I thought the point of video games was to get shot the least amount possible so I don't make it habit of even needing them. I ended up doing a few kill challenges to get hit a bunch so I could buy the armor to unlock the skill sets.

The camps didn't get progressively harder. Maybe I didn't do them in the intended order. The last one had a tiger cage. I sneaked up to the camp via the ocean and just hid behind a barrel until the guy guarding the alarm walked away. I turned off the alarm got out of the camp and circled around it to find people and saw the cage. I released the tiger and he took down every single guy and ran away. Thanks buddy. There was one specific camp that I thought was going to be tough, but I actually got through it unscathed. It was in the nook of a Hill with a Ramp on the front. I scoped out the area and waited for the guard to move away and I went in and Ledge killed the guy in front of the alarm and turned it off. I then went back to the bushes and lured all but one guy into the bushes with rocks and killed them. You know Smurf style. There was one other camp that I screwed myself on and debated just reloading but just forced myself through it. I approached it from a cliff with a hang glider. The Glider landed in the road and 4 Jeeps stopped each carrying two or more guys. It was like a never ending traffic jam. They all just walked up to the camp and joined the crowd. I was able to lure the few guards away from the Alarm and deactivate it. Once it was deactivated. I climbed into the building and surveyed my situation. I decided since the alarm is out my best course of action was to blanket the entire area in grenades and Molotov cocktails. One grenade took out like 7 guys since they were all AI's extremely confused as to why there vehicles were stopped. Assault Rifle time. I have a lot more fun with the sneaking than I do with the open arms, but I forget about how fun it is to just let loose and Use your entire Inventory of C4, grenades, Fire Arrows and every bullet for all of guns. Some dogs from the Hill decided to check out what the noise was, they decided to run directly at an explosive Barrel. BAM Take out anyone?

Missions were quick and not really that great. My flight or Fight really makes games easier than they intend. The first mission was to get the list of traders for the main man Hoyt. I basically just walked in because I still have the disguise on. Took the picture. Hit the cars with RPG's jumped in the river swam around picked up the list. Triggered an escape timer and tons of Enemies. Wait. A river. I Jump again. Timer still going. Wait another River. Jump again. Wait and Alligator. Killed it. Made it out with the majority of the time left on the clock.

The second mission was just a story line mission. Mostly trigger pulls and listening to ranting. Found out the third brother was still alive. Obviously. I think anyone playing this knew that.

So at this point. I've collected all of the letters, Have all of the weapons (I think, new stuff just randomly pops up), Radio Towers, Camps. It's feeling kind of done. I might string it out a bit. Do some hunting and random stuff. So I might have 3 or 4 playthroughs left just because I'm enjoying it. I definitely won't attempt the Relics or Treasures. I just don't care enough. I think a few hunters missions are in order so I can level everything up. I'll probably do the Knife Kill missions. I don't care about the Challenge of the Rayak or whatever. So I won't be doing those. I tried a few, but don't care enough to do them all. I liked the one I did. It was a sniper rifle one.  I didn't even get into the second Tier. Which just reminded me how bad I am at video games in general. I need to play some more Halo 5 and Gears 4 over the holiday. I'll probably finish this up before the end of 2016.

Side note. I was on the way to Liberate a Camp and the game broke. I went straight through the ground and fell forever. If you play video games you've experienced this. Lets be honest. I will say it didn't last long and it reloaded so no harm no foul really. I haven't seen it in a while, but I know my wife experienced it with Batman Arkham Origins a few times.

Play Through 6:

Well, I finished up the Letter Gathering, I thought I was done, but I guess not. I went ahead and did a few more Trials and finished up the Headhunting things. Finished Leveling up. No more skills to gather. Finished with most of the stuff that was available. I think I'm just going to try and finish it up.

From the count in the Journal I have 4 or 5 tasks left and I'm finished. Well, Might as well get started. My first mission is to blow up the Communications station. Looks like I have to work my way up to the tower through the bunker. Well, I think I'm just going to cut to the chase here. I worked my way up by disarming the first alarm I could get to and then I just opened fire on everyone. I didn't really try very hard to be discrete about the whole thing I just opened fire. I love it when a plan comes together.

One notable part when I can around one corner coming through the bunker they kicked some gas tanks down at me that were on fire. It was crazy. I barely got out of the way.

The second section of this was a bit tough at first. It was a duel part deal. One you had to survive and two you had to protect your bomb. I died the first time, Way too many people hitting me at once and I didn't have the lay of the land. So, I didn't know where to to go. Second time through I did some looking around before hand and laid some mines. This helped out quite a bit. I was able to run over to the top of the bunker and use that to defend myself and the bomb until the helicopter arrived. That was an ok mission. Nothing special.

The next mission was to blow up the fuel reserves. I had to restart several times because the AI Sam kept dying over and over. I learned after the first few times to park him out of the way and just run in myself. Lots of heavy armored guys. However, It was rather straight forward.

Next mission was the start of the finale. Time to play some poker. Sam Bites it. Obviously. Then we go into another one of those Dream sequences this game likes so much. The final boss. was an over simplified timed button push. There was some babble there, but nothing of any importance. Then you have a time line to escape and find the Final Brody Bro and get on the escape route. Well. I did my normal screw this and run tactic. Up and over and landed right on a jeep I got in Drove off and was followed with rockets. I jumped the bridge and took the off island approach, I thought it would be less dense. I was wrong. Still tons of AI's. I kind of drove the jeep around the compound and uh... Kind of wrecked it right into the building they were keeping the brother in. So that was easy. Helicopter ride was a bit weird. They did the fun music open fire approach for the ending. I mean I really liked it with the Weed level, but this one was a bit much. I didn't really care for it as much. Honestly these last few levels were some of the worst in the game. So Here is a thing. before you start the mission you get a call from Dennis that spoils the ending. He's like you should forget about your friends and family we are your family now. That one call totally gave away the fact that the Tribe was going to turn on you in the end. Yeah, more drug induced hallucinations. They make you choose the Tribe or your friends. I chose my friends because it felt like the right thing to do.

Anyway, I've finished the game. So... I've Started a few others. I've been playing random stuff online as well.

So, stay tuned for another one at some point.

Current Roster Likes and Dislikes.

Lets just get into this. This is basically a quick rundown of my feelings toward the current roster and where they are and where I think they should be.

I'm using the App for this so If I miss someone, Blame it not me. Well you can blame me. No one is going to be reading this anyway.

Aiden English- didn't like him in NXT, don't like him now. I think he's holding Gotch down.

AJ Styles- He is where he needs be. Champion. If anything I don't like the Ellsworth angle, but I understand it. It would be cool to have more of a Bullet Club feel with him, but I think we're good with the current push. That TLC match with Ambrose was great. His Mic work is also great, but where he shines is in the ring.

Alexa Bliss- Never saw her winning a belt, but she has that look Mcmahon likes and quite frankly if you're a dude it's hard to not like her look. Her in ring ability is solid enough, she doesn't botch as bad as Charlotte. I would like to see her develop a really solid finisher and submission move. Her snotty character is so fantastic. I wish the Lynch angle would end with Bliss coming out on top.

Alicia Fox- You're still here? I'm cool with it. You just keep being you.

Apollo Crews- Better luck on the Indies bro. Not even a pro Comedian can save you.

Ariya Daivari- Somebody's gotta job to Cedric.

Baron Corbin- I like where this is headed. He isn't afraid to take a loss, he isn't afraid of bumps, his promo work is getting better and better. I think we will see a solid run for him. Maybe a big run against a big name would be good. I would like to see a Rhyno Corbin show off, just for the brutality.

Bayley- Heeeeeeeeyy we want some Bayyyyyyyleeeeey. Why? are we only seeing Sasha vs. Charlotte when Bayley is around? She's arguably better than both combined. Her mic work is better, her fan base larger, her in ring work twice as good as Charlotte and Sasha. This hidden agenda of pushing Charlottes title number is stupid. I'm saying it now. They are doing nothing but building that future promo when she can announce her self as the "16 time Womens Champ"

Becky Lynch- Should still be in NXT, YO your mic Skills are terrible Bruh. It's a shame she struggles with the mic work so much. She's fantastic to watch and her matches are solid. I just don't think she was ready to take the reigns of an entire show.

Big Cass- Either give the team a shot at the Tag Titles or Split them up. This just chilling crap isn't working for me. The Rusev feud is only going to carry them so far before you realize Rusev is taking down a tag team by himself. Their Mic work is probably the best I've ever seen. Ever. It's almost a shame we're still in the PG era. I would like to see what they would do if the chains are taken off.

Big E- Now that The New Day has the record can they uh.... Drop the Titles and go onto something new. I don't want them to break up, I think it's too good to break up, I honestly think the best is yet to come. What if they feud for a singles title and share the singles title(s) You could have the US open Challenge and have Kofi take on Big E and have Big E loose and have them all celebrate together because The New Day won the US Title. It would be HILARIOUS!!! Plus, getting into it with a few of the top names on Raw would really be good. Maybe let the tag team division run itself and have a large Feud with Enzo and Cass. They have bounced off of each other a few times and it was entertaining.

Big show- Please Retire, for goodness sakes. When is his next Heel Turn, wait, is he still a face? He was a face last week right?

Bo Dallas- I'm ready for that push he needs, I thought the Social outcast thing was working. I think he would really deliver on the mid card. I'm not saying give him a title or anything, but we know he can go, Lets face it. He had some solid matches in NXT with Zayn and Neville.

Braun- Needs to be taken out by someone, this current feud with Zayn could do them both good. However, I think a massive star is what Braun needs to grow. Maybe decimating Big show would help solidify him as the new BIG MAN on campus. A Seamus Feud wouldn't hurt.

Bray Wyatt- in the tag team picture? Really? Better than Jobbing constantly. The change could revitalize his gimmick and bring it back to relevance OR It could stop it dead in the water. I'm not sure why he isn't absolutely dominating everyone. The Gimmick is GOLD.

The Brian Kendrick- Can you just go mop the shower already and get off my TV screen. Anytime a 3 year old can do your finisher, you need to give it up. I'll give him a bit of credit on some of the sneaky ways he tries to win, but sometimes they don't pan out. Like when TJ Perkins had to pretend to be tied to the ring rope.

Brock Lesner- Please don't give us 5 or 6 Brock vs. Goldberg matches. Please. Honestly, I think a Brock/Cesaro Stint would really do us all some good. It would work, Cesaro is consistently billed as the strongest pound for pound. Brock could take notice of that and we could have some really good matches, Both Cesaro and Lesner could make it work. Plus, Cesaro being a Heyman guy and getting dumped by Heyman could come into play. It would work, a few months ago before Goldberg it couldn't have worked, but now it could.

Carmella- Probably the shining star from NXT so far, I didn't expect her to be quite this good this quick. Her presence is undeniable. Her in ring work improves each and every week. I would like to see her go nose to nose with Lynch for a bit.

Cedric Alexander- Take him out of the Cruiser-weights and put him against Seth Rollins/Zayn/Styles anybody really. Slap a championship on him in the future. Give him like 40 T shirts, I'll buy them all. This guy is SUPER STAR. I hope WWE takes advantage of him.

Cesaro- Next Universal Champion. Well he should be anyway. I mentioned him working Lesner earlier, but working Goldberg would also work. It's almost a shame he's on Raw, because a long Cesaro/ Cena feud would be entertaining. Maybe Rollins/Cesaro would give us some great matches.

Chad Gable- AA needs some AA. WWE is screwing the pooch on this one. They should have come in and dominated instead of disappearing into the mix that is the Smackdown thick field. I mean Breezango eliminated them.  I want Kurt Angle to come back and be their leader.

Charlotte- Only getting pushed because of her dad, easily the least talented on the mic and in the ring of the four horsewomen. I daresay half of the womens roster is better than her.  She makes Sasha terrible. She botches every mic spot, every match so many botches it's like watching Botchmania, but in reality it's just a normal Charlotte match. I really take issue with someone who lacks talent is getting the push and the credit when so many women are out there with solid talent. Not just in WWE, but everywhere.

Chris Jericho- Never EEEEEVER disappoints might be in the highlight of his entire career performance wise. Ring wise, it's starting to show. Slightly. very slightly. Still better than most. I think Bret Hart was wrong. Chris Jericho is "The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be."

Curt Hawkins- Go away.

Curtis Axel- Hey Bro, you would be a GOD on the indies, leave already. I honestly think your quality of life would improve. Maybe to the point where when you return to WWE, you'll grab titles.

Dana Brooke- Needed 3-4 more months in NXT to develop, they pulled her up way too soon. She could be a lot stronger talent than she currently is.

Darren Young- Needs to let go of the Backlund angle its not working. I'm not sure where he should go or do. TNA?

Dean Ambrose- I'm happy with his place, he is better reaking havoc than with a belt. I just wish they would take him out of the title picture.

Dolph Ziggler- Best Mid carder of all time. Let him stick around and put people over. Just not Corbin. Been there done that. I think we will see a lot of good stuff from him and AJ, but I feel like Miz and AJ just traded partners. Wait. It's because they did.

Drew Gulak- Somebody has to job to Perkins

Emma- um. Wasn't she supposed to Debut on Raw this Monday. I think if they're going to anything with Charlotte. This is what they should do. Put Emma, Charlotte, Dana Brooke and bring in Tessa Blanchard (because of the original 4 horseman tie) Make them the bad guys.

Enzo- wearing thin. See Cass.

Epico- Release

Erick Rowan- He's hurt. Look forward to having him back.

Eva Marie- Kind of a shame they put her down on Raw. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is with her.

Fandango- I like the funny gimmick, needs more TV time. I like him being teamed with Breeze. They were given a very strong showing in the Battle Royal Tuesday night.

Finn- Hurt, get well soon.

Goldberg- I like that he crushed Brock. Needs to be pitted with Brock. Undertaker?

Goldust- He's still got it, it's just that no one wants it. He should go down to NXT and coach.

Gran Metalik- Might become a solid star on the cruiserweight show.

Gurv Sihra- Jobber and should be

Harv Sihra- See Gurv

Heath Slater- I'm curious what they do with him, what a nice Hot run he had after the draft, might have been his last. He looks amazing in the ring and the "I Got Kids" stuff really went over. Getting in Brocks face, that was probably the best moment of his entire Career.

HoHo lun- easily on the standouts from the tournament for me. I would like to see much much more.

Jack Gallagher- THE standout of the tournament for me, should be the Universal champion after Cesaro. Ok, Obviously Gallagher will never grab that, but I could see him going a run here or there.

Jack Swagger- Go to the Indies scrub. This guy here. Cesaro single handily extended his career by 7-8 years.

James Ellsworth- I hate it.

Jason Jordan- See Gable

Usos- Indies please

Cena- Should grab a few more solid runs throughout the years, will never be full time again. Which he doesn't even need to do. He's Cena. I think he should quietly transition into that role of never reaching Flair and just before he hangs up his boots let him grab that title one last time.

Kalisto- Either push him or let him go to lucha underground. Stop feeding him to the big guys.

Kane- Retire please

Karl Anderson- Should have New Day's belts or form a larger more dominate Club. If approached correctly from creative, this "Club" thing could be the next NWO. I say release them from Raw and have them come through the crowd on both shows and give them a few cooler guys, sign a few other bullet club members and have them "Invade" WWE. I know they tried that gimmick with the Nexus, It got over even though it didn't work that well. What we need is an extended run of the Faces loosing. The Club could provide that.

Kenny- That run is over bro, go back to not existing.

Kevin Owens- Needs to drop the title to someone other than Reigns, maybe Cesaro and then have a massive Feud with Jericho. After the Jericho feud Finn will be back. Boom Owens/Balor feud rekindled. I also would like to see him take on Lesner and a few others. Owens is the quintessential Golden boy for us fans. Why? because he is probably the most Solid Heel that has ever existed. Just this week a video surfaced  of Owens pulling his Heel character on a kid wearing Roman Reigns gear. The kid cried. What's not to like about a guy doing his job. Note to parents. If you're kid is too sensitive don't let them around the Heels. It's their job to be mean to your kids. OR, try parenting. Let them know ahead of time. The bad guys are bad guys, don't pay attention to those mean poopy heads. Requesting Owens to not be mean to kids wearing the shirt of who he is feuding with is kind of like asking the guy who mows your lawn not to drive his lawn tractor on your yard. Owens is probably the best thing Pro Wrestling has seen in years. Plus, he's a family man behind the curtain. A few quick moments of his career I want to share. He once released a video that he was going to get the audience to cheer USA USA for the face when the guy he was wrestling (I think it was Zayn) was also from Canada. Then he looked into the camera and called the crowd out on it.

Kofi- See Big E

Konner- Release or Repackage

Lana- I'm good where she's at, maybe more robe spots.

Lince Dorado- Solid.

Luke Gallows- See Karl Anderson

Luke Harper- I like where he is. Randy and he should be the main holders of the tag titles while Bray takes the championship from AJ. It's also Ok that he is getting a little more push than Bray, Bray has had the spotlight, and I think it could do the Wyatts good in General to be seen throughout the show. He is great in the ring, and I like that he is speaking more.

Mark Henry- Retire Already

Maryse- Part of the Best Miz Run of all time. She's beautiful, plays her part as a Snob great. What's not to like?

Mikey- are you a real person? I think you might actually be a Hologram.

The Miz- Best run of his Career. Feed him descent performers to ultimately beat. Kalisto, etc. I wouldn't mind having him crush a few mainstays. His work with Ziggler are some of the best matches we had the privilege of seeing in 2016.

Mojo- Worst of all time. I mean, Mabel was better. I've seen Jobbers that are better. I like Ellsworth more.

Mustafa Ali- Honestly don't remember him from the tournament. I don't think I've ever seen him before.

Naomi- So bad, I just cant. So bad. What is that show she does before she gets in the ring and botches and potentially ruins someones career. Isn't she hurt. Again. Like her husband. Is the light show for the kids, because when the kids I watch it with see it, they hate it. They think it's just as dumb as I do.

Natalya- In ring skills are fantastic knows the biz. give her the belt. I like her current Heel Run.

Neville- You have flow as high as you're going to bro. Don't believe me? Ask Bourne. You honestly might make more money putting some shirts on Pro wrestling Tees and working the Indie Circuit. Honestly NJPW or ROH has some great talent that you could really do well against and give us all some matches we know you're capable of.

Nia Jax- Will squash someone for that title at some point.

Nikki Bella- strong come back. I swear every time I see her she improves. Her Mic work has gotten better. Her in ring abilities increased and she is hotter than ever. Honestly, I like Rack attack 2.0 better than the original move. Nothing but love going her way right now, I used to slam her, because I thought she was awful. It was because she was awful. Even during her title reign it was so bad. Since she's come back though. Different world altogether.

Noam Dar- one of the top Cruisers.

Pagie- Trainwreck, such a shame, she was a great talent. I don't think we will ever see her inside a WWE ring again. Thanks Del Rio you piece of crap.

Primo- Fire him please.

R-Truth- Go away.

Randy Orton- Career Revitalized, but everyone knows he will turn on the Wyatts, we just don't know when. I would honestly like to see a final Orton/Cena run. Maybe toss a belt on Orton.

Rhyno- toward the end of another run, this one was a good run. He does great work for NXT I think very highly of Wrestler.

Rich Swann- probably going to drop the title soon, but a great performer in ring and out.

Roman- great US champ, should do the US open challenge. I think he is better as a strong mid card with the occasional main run than "The Guy" I don't want him to be the one to take the belt off Owens. I don't think he should be that "Guy" I really think doing the US open Challenge would revitalize him in a way we all could appreciate.

Rosa mendes- She's still around?

Rusev- needs to feud with a stronger Mid carder than Enzo. Maybe a run at Sheamus would be good. No more Reigns for a while. I like Lana being with him. Ultimately though he isn't Savage to her Miss Elizabeth. He needs to develop something broader and soon. Maybe a Strong Tag Team run with fun partner would really grow his character. I would put him with someone who isn't doing much that he could elevate and they could grow together. Maybe Neville. Both international. Neville heal turn could work. They could do some cool Big man/ little man Tag stuff.

Sami Zayn- I'm not sure where we're headed, I'll stick around to find out. Underused is an understatement. He got a lot of time on this past Raw though.

Sasha- stuck in a Charlotte loop that the WWE can't let go of and will never let go of. I think they want to make Charlotte a 16 time champ and using Sasha to get the number padded quickly. I think she will get buried by the Flair Bus. A shame, I think.

Seth- I like the HHH feud for Mania. I think Roman should turn on him, but not in a Heel way. Maybe in a "how did you not see that coming" way. Rollins is good, he will make anyone look better than they are. I could pit against anyone and be happy. As long as I see him every week I'm happy.

Sheamus- needs a solid mid card story line and a few brutal matches. A Rusev Feud would be good to see.

Simon Gotch- being held down by his loser partner.

Sin Cara- Have you seen Frozen. You should listen to that main song.

Summer Rae- MORE OF HER NOW. I don't care how, as long as I don't have to watch Total Divas, or 205 live. Because I'm not doing either of those things.

Tamina- I would like her to be the Nia Jax of smackdown.

Titus- fire him, underwhelming. Always has been always will be.

TJ perkins- not really living up to the hype are we? great intro though.

Tony Nese- probably the best jobber of the cruisers. would like to see him get a few wins. A run against a main roster guys would be good. Have him pick a fight with Ambrose or get picked up by the Wyatts.

Tozawa- Deadly.

HHH- I like the occasional Pop in.

Tyler Breeze- we all knew you would land on the bottom of the card. Hold that spot bro. We love you. OWN IT!! you never know when you could be given a break.

Undertaker- didn't you say you were back? Where are you then?

Viktor- Release or repackage

Xavier- see big E

Zack Ryder- why? Why mojo? Why?

Akam- Part of the Authors of Pain. Do we really need this? An unbeatable Goliath.  Then we're going put them against DIY and hope for the best huh. This is Vinny Mac story telling. I get it though, they're huge. We are lacking Huge guys that are relevant overall. So this could pan out for them. Neither of them work the Mic at all, their moves are descent, but not refined. Lets see where it goes. I'm not against waiting it out.

Alexander Wolfe- SAnitY Ok. Alright, Another group gimmick. Anarchy reigns in this one, but not really because there is a clear leader. Wolfe seems legit. I think there is room for him here. NXT is its own monster and with the ever changing field in the main roster in WWE, you never know where things will land.

Aliyah- Everyone's gotta Job at some point.

Andrade "Cien" Almas- One of my personal favorites, I really think he has it. I like his mic skills, the character is good, but not overwhelming. I like some of the teasing he does in ring. Just Solid through and through. He should go up and become the new Target for The Miz.

Angelo Dawkins- This poor guy can't hold down a gimmick for more than a full episode. His issue is patience and the ability to try and make it work. I think he will bite the dust eventually.

Asuka- I have her T shirt. I had too. She's one of the most entertaining women that has graced the ring. Her in ring gear is great, her talent unmistakable her presence undeniable. Best of the best.

Austin Aries- Probably one of the better guys on the Roster all around. His attitude gets him everywhere. I love the banana. His commentary is off the charts he will be in WWE hopefully for a very long time. A Super Talent. His in ring work is on point. It's a shame he's injured. I look forward to him coming back.

Billie Kay- Not great, lets be honest. The robe is bad, she's a jobber trying to make it in the big league. It's not working.

Bobby Roode- Glorious. Obviously. His in ring work is that of a Pro I mean he's been around for a very long time. He's been Champion in TNA on Several levels and is a Super Star. The Internet goes nutty on this guy because they don't think he will ever make it to the main roster. I couldn't disagree more. I think we will see him with the Title around his waste before some of the more cherished roster members. I think Roode is going to get that Main Roster push, I think not only will he get it, he might get it in 2017.

Buddy Murphy- On thin Ice. Might need some rebuilding.

Dash Wilder- The Revival is one of the best call backs to the way Professional Wrestling was done in the early 80's that I've ever seen. It just Reeks of Arn Anderson and the 4 Horsemen. It's a great Gimmick and although Scott Dawson is a little better at the Gimmick, Dash Wilder might be the star of the team.

Elias Samson- This drifter gimmick has got to go. He isn't bad in the ring, but I don't think we will see him called up anytime soon. He may end up going the route of Adam Rose and be the guy WWE invests in and never get their return.

Ember Moon- Move her up now. Raw needs her. She's beautiful, talented, That finisher. Man. I would lose the Ninja Gimmick.

Eric Young- I spoke a little about SAnitY earlier. I think it's overdone, but it seems to be at the very least not horrific. If they dialed it down just a tad it could work. I wanted Damo in the Wyatt Family. Eric Young himself is one of the better Professionals out there. I think he can ultimately come out of this gimmick with a push. Young's in ring work is distinct and at time brutally magnificent.

Hideo Itami- KENTA STOP GETTING HURT. From what I've seen of him on Youtube and in WWE he is fantastic and could be the next biggest star WWE has, but he just hit the bad luck run with injury. There's a match with him and Chris Hero that you can't miss on youtube.

Johnny Gargano- The Indie Darling. Johnny Wrestling. He is so entertaining. I've haven't really gotten the feel for him in WWE that I have on some of the Indie sightings like Evolve and PWG. Was it PWG? I'm not so sure now. I think he will be around for a very long time. I think you will see him in NXT for a bit too long before the call up.

Liv Morgan- Probably the most attractive woman in WWE in a very long time. I sometimes have to skip her matches because I honestly cant stop looking at her..... assets? Seriously, she makes me feel like I'm a creepier. That aside, I think she is in development for a reason. I don't think she will be ready for the main roster in 2017, but if she shows up there I think she could flourish. Carmella surprised me I didn't think she was ready and she's doing pretty good. If they keep Morgan in NXT for the next year, I think it would do her some good. I think strapping the NXT belt on her might be in the future.

Mandy Rose- Rose is very green. She's got a long way to go.

Nick Miller- TM-61. These guys are impressive, you can tell they've been around for a while. I liked that they were in the finals of the Dusty Classic. I thought for sure when Aries pulled the stunt on them and made it a 1-on-1 match they were going to get cheated out of it, but they won and advanced. For a minute there I thought they were going to take down the authors of pain. I see a bright sky of a future for them, Maybe not lots of title reigns, but they're not primo and epico.

Nikki Cross- I've spoken about her several times already. She needs to tone it down. It's not coming off Creepy, It's not coming off scary. It's not even coming off crazy. It's coming off like someones overdoing there acting. Its coming off like a scene in Days of our lives instead of an academy award film. What I'm saying is it's bad. She's single handedly  ruining that gimmick for me.

No Way Jose- Fun, Talented. Needs more Promo time to polish it up and he's good to go.

Oney Lorcan- Not sure why he jobbed on Raw. OH wait yes I am. He's a jobber.

Paul Ellering- It's creepy that he is only there to babysit his daughter.

Peyton Royce- I don't care for her. I don't like her non-existent skills in the ring. I don't like her teeth. I don't like her gimmick, I don't like anything she does.

Rezar- See Akam

Roderick Strong- I watched quite a bit of this guy in ROH and honestly I must have missed it. I never really got why he was so great. I like his moves in ring. I think ultimately he will go somewhere with the company and hopefully I'll begin to understand why Roddy is so great. I'm certainly not debating that he is bad in any way, I just haven't had the opportunity to see it. Maybe, someone could point me in the direction of what matches I should be watching.

Samoa Joe- Lots of people are saying Joe will never make it out of NXT. So what if he doesn't, he is in the main events of NXT consistently Honestly he isn't in his prime. He doesn't move as fast. He might not ever make it to the main roster. However, I think he will. I think the people who keep saying Joe will die in NXT. I think they're wrong. I think Joe will have his run on the main roster. I think someone will get hurt and they will need a guy to fill the spot quickly BAM Joe. I want to see him Feud with SAnitY.

Sawyer Fulton- Apparently injured.

Scott Dawson- The other side of the Revival. I really like this tag team.He is the weak link there though.

Shane Thorn- I'm so impressed with this guy. Especially during the Dusty Rhodes classic in 2016. Man this guy goes. This guy is the man. Shane Thorne is my second favorite Wrestler in NXT right now. It goes Nakamura, Thorne, Asuka.

Shinsuke Nakamura- I have watched everything I can get my hands on from this guy. He gets it man. He understands professional Wrestling. Sure, he doesn't speak great English, but he doesn't have too. His Delivery is ON POINT. I love the hesitation and body movements and rolling head and rolling eyes and then the Delivery. He feeds off of the crowd and works it into his motions. He really knows how to own the moment, from the entrance and pose to the Good Vibrations in the Corner. I like how he will toy with opponents. Matches and in ring work are just absolutely solid. He seems respectful to the business. He lets his opponents get their stuff in. Just a true professional. He went surfing with a fan in Australia because they tweeted him. They guy is THE pro that WWE needs to latch onto and ride. He can take them into 2025 easily.

Tommaso Ciampa- Great performer. Gargano and his match in the cruiserweight classic STOLE the entire tournament. His Mic work is good, he has his character down. The crowd still cheers him on as the Psycho Killer. He isn't afraid of taking a loss. He is somebody who is going to more than likely stick around for just a few years and go back to the indies. I think WWE doesn't know what to do with guys like him. I hope I'm wrong. I think he could be the star that got me to watch 205.

Tye Dillinger- It will be a DAMN shame if he doesn't debut in the Royal rumble at Number 10. I can't say enough about the guys work. He took a crap gimmick and made it work. This 10 thing should not have gotten over, but it's spilling into the main roster stuff. People don't count 1,2,3,4,5 anymore they count 10,10,10,10. Why? because Tye Dillinger was about to get buried by creative and he took the terd they gave him and shined into a diamond.

Wesley Blake- Good show my man. See you on Youtube.
