Aquaman crap.

Way to go friends a whole massive four people entered this contest.

Anne 1

I will randomly pull prizes and names. That will come in the mail. Facebook me your address please and thank you.

(95) Star Trek: Insurrection (1998)
Hmmm. Yep I wrote down here that it's a 2.8 out of 5 sounds right. I now how to fill in at least until the end of the picture. So This one is for you Sara Shafer. A duck walks into a bar. Sits down at the bar and asks for a beer. The Bartender replies "OH MY GOD! A Talking Duck!" The duck looks at the bartender with disbelief. "Can I have a beer please?" "Yes, of course" says the bartender. "but, I must ask you a question" The duck takes a sip of beer and says "sure" The bartender asks "What is a talking duck doing in this town?" The duck simply replies. " Hanging Drywall in the new apartment complex being built on 17th" The Duck finishes the beer quickly and pays and says See you tomorrow. The Duck comes back at the same time the next day. The bartender pours him a beer and gives him a bowl of peanuts and asks "Have you ever thought of the Circus?" The Duck replies. " I guess, It would be cool to go at least once." the bartender says " No, No, No, No You. In the Circus. I bet you could make a lot of money in the Circus." The Duck replies. "What would the Circus need with a Drywall hanger?" This joke. Better than this movie.

(96) Bernie (2011)
Jack Black was great in this. The dedication to the weirdness was amazing. The Role the town played was great. The Town itself was a good character. The plot line was predictable, but had its moments of Zen and it never let up on making you wonder when it was going to all go down. You felt bad for the guy really. Black was in a different role than usual, but still felt like he should jump into the air and bang out on an Air Guitar. I will watch his movies even if I'm not excited for them. This one, If you are a Black fan you should watch. If you aren't then skip it. The Elderly people make it good as well. Shirley Maclaine is great per the usual and Matthew McConaughey delivers A lazy performance. He just showed up played a basic cop role and moved on. He tends to be a lazy actor, I like him regardless. I think he ads a bit of fun to whatever role he is in, just because he is who he is. I still can't get over his movie Killer Joe. Man that was a creepy performance by him. Not something I would want to watch again. Bernie however, I would re watch this. It's a fun movie full of odd. I like Odd. 4.2 out of 5

(97) We Bought a Zoo (2011)
Do you like movies about animals? Do you like cute kids? Do you enjoy crying and heart throbbing movies? Do like it when Matt Damon yells a lot? How about Scarlett Johansson sweaty in Tight blue Jeans? Well I like all of those things So therefore I liked this movie. A lot.  The Typical Single Dad story. The Typical Older kid hates life while Younger one is the strongest. Love blooms in the Zoo. Elle Fanning once again proves she will eventually surpass her sister as the true actress in the Fanning family. Eat your Heart out Dakota, Elle has your number and shes calling for you to go get her a Coffee. It's seriously one of the better movies that I have seen in a long time. speaking of that if you want to watch it. Have a long time, because it's two hour run time feels like three. The music is wonderful and the ending is gut wrenching tear jerking mayhem of crying and sobbing. Which through this whole thing I knew was coming. I knew I was going to burst into tears. That is no feat worth saying because I have been known to cry over commercials. However, if you are looking for a good movie to settle in with the family and laugh, learn some valuable lessons and feel good afterward. This is truly the movie for you. 4.8 out of 5.

(98) The Babymakers (2012)
Why did I watch this. Well, not for this poster. Look at that. Terrible. A lot funnier when you have seen the movie. Two big reasons I watched this. It has the Broken Lizard crew who have made movies infamous like Super Troopers, Beerfest and Club Dred some of the best movies for nonsense. Super Troopers being their staple. They're worth watching regardless. Then we have Olivia Munn. I want her to make it. She probably won't, because out of the stuff I have seen her in she isn't that great, but man she was funny as can be on Attack of the Show. That show I used to love until it went ditsy playboy bunnies play with camera they don't understand and can't read teleprompters. I'm looking at you Underwood. Bustice was funny. Moving on. This is a surprisingly funny story. Tommy played by Paul Schneider can't get his wife pregnant because he is shooting blanks and he decides that he needs to get tested. He has week sperm and wants to use his sperm he donated a long time for money to knock up his wife. He talks to his friends (Kevin Heffernan) and they go see the best character of the movie played by Jay Chandrasekhar. Watch this movie just for his performance and the melons. The Terrible Indian accent done on purpose is hilariously over the top. overall not a good movie though. 2.1 out of 5

(99) The top 50 finishing moves (2012)
Wrestling is fun. 5.0 out of 5.0

(100) Platoon (1986)
I have been doing this blog too much. 3 years is enough. Enjoy your prizes those of you who bothered to enter. Thanks for reading. I hope you at least watched a few movies you wouldn't have because of this blog.
for 2013 it will be a list with the ratings. no more massive write outs. Platoon was a worthy one to end on. Might be the best War movie I have ever seen.

(100) Platoon (1986) 5.0

91-95. AQUAMAN CONTEST REVEALS!!!

Blog. Here is the deal. I watch 100 movies each year. Then I rate them simple 0-5 scale. Nothing Special. You know what is special. My Aquaman contest.

What will you win!!!!!!!????????!!!!!!!!
Well I changed crap up. Why? The lack of interest and input from my loyal readers. All 5 of you. Britt has entered. Joel. and Rachel. Joel has two entries. Two chances. 7 prizes. Ill do a drawing. I'll Vine the Drawings after the blog is posted. Who will Win?????? You still have a chance to submit crap. Just send it in.

(91) JLA: DOOM (2012)
I was excited for this. A JLA movie with a change up of villains. It was remarkably forgettable when it comes to DC animation features. It fell hard for my ratings of these. Most of them score at least a 4.9. This one isn't getting that. The animation style wasn't anything special. The character building didn't happen as quickly as it should have. It didn't give off any excitement or potential for sequels. Just a run of the mill. That being said even the Run of the Mill for DC animation is spectacular. So sadly a 4.2 out of 5.

(92) N.W.O.: The Revolution  (2011)
Another Wrestling film. It chronicled the NWO fad from the 1990's. In the world of professional wrestling. It's a World War. Three Companies were Bidding for dominance of the fans. WCW, WWF, and ECW. The Monday night wars had started. WCW and WWF were going head to head on Monday night. WCW continuously were in the attack mode. Stealing Super Stars like Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage from WWF. WWF responded with skits making fun of Hogan and Savage and their age. They both took shots back and forth. The battle was over ratings. At first WWF were slamming WCW. ECW had a Thursday night show and they independently lost out to WWF in the beginning and were secretly run by WWF for years before the "buy out" WCW kept attacking. WCW used the fact that they were live a lot to surprise WWF fans. Rick Rude defected and showed up on WCW Monday night Nitro while also on the Taped WWF Raw getting praised by the owner Vince McMahon. The Winners of Raws matches were given out by Nitros commentators. Nothing compared to the N.W.O. The NWO was a made up faction within WCW. A popular superstar in WWF left for WCW. However, He showed up in street clothes, and jumped in the ring during a match and said he was tired of WCW's crap attacking his company. He said he was here to kick everyone in WCW around. He then said he had a friend that was showing up. This whole time posing as a WWF superstar infiltrating the WCW. He brought the WWF Champion with him next week. Well everyone thought he was the champion, but he lost the belt the same night on WWF TV. They Challenged the Top Three WCW superstars to a match. They said they had a friend coming. WCW's pay per view featured the Three top WCW guys against the two WWF guys and a surprise visitor. The two WWF guys called the outsiders (in the picture the first defector is on the left and the second on the right making up the outsiders) then toward the end of the match the two WWF guys had cheated and won the upper hand WCW looked like there top three weren't good enough to beat the two WWF superstars. Then the WCW headliner, the saving grace Hulk Hogan came down to the ring. Only to drop a signature Leg Drop on the WCW guy in the ring and Start the NWO. A faction of superstars working within WCW, for WWF, to beat WCW from within. This tells this epic storyline. 3.0

(93) Limitless (2011)
A pill that can let you do things that others can't even dream of. Wait, Cooper may have actually taken one of those. How does he look so good. Cooper did a great job. This movie is overlooked, It's way better than you think. I had low expectations. Anne didn't have very high ones either. It was really good. High impact, nice roll of the dice moments, good suspicions, the drug was mysterious and caused great side effects. It was a fun, well thought out movie. It also surprised me by having a really strong under belly feeling. It was speaking to people with addictions in a subtle manner. Letting them know, hey it is not a good thing. Regardless of what you think the drug can do for you. In the end it's not worth it. Deniro is slipping. Getting lazy. It shows here. It was well done, well acted, fun script. predictable. Dragged a bit in the part before the part before the end. 4.3 out of 5

(94) Mansome (2012)
From the director of "Super Size Me" Aka "Going to Mcdonalds after this" comes a fun look at men. Using Arrested Development stars and random hollywood guys to show what it is to be a man. Not really that but a fun look at some manly crap like beard contests. It was fun. Anne laughed a whole lot. We didn't expect this much fun from a documentary about manliness. However, it delivered. Some of it was a bit slow and a bit silly. Zach Galifinakis was amazing as expected. A fun part on fake hair. The Beard part was the winner though. by far.  A creepy look at metrosexual and how it is looked down upon by real men. The guy shaves his body everyday for 2 hours. That's overkill bro. 3.9 out of 5.

(95) Star Trek: Insurrection (1998)
Do you think it was an accident that this poster happened to have a character face that looks like the Star Wars Sith Lord? Yeah, I didn't think so either. A motion picture with the Star Trek: The next Generation crew. It was comparable to some of the other Star Trek films of the past. Not of the Recent ones. The Recent ones. Wow. They are GOOD. This one it isn't. 2.8 out of 5. So now what to talk about. How about Star Trek. I like it. Anne and I are currently going painstakingly through the first series. Only a few episodes in, A friend of mine who is a real Trekky lets me in on the fact that you have to get through the bad ones to the meat of the show to start really enjoying it. I love the movies for the most part and remember what I have seen of The Next Generation fondly. So I am excited to get through the tough part into the great part. I'll let you know. Lets see. Oh have you thought about the Aquaman prizes lately. Well I vined them On Facebook and Twitter follow me on Twitter @beespray989. Here are your prizes.

plus don't forget. I changed them all up. this means that the past blogs don't mean crap. The Sixth and the Seventh are Xbox points and the mighty Qwertee.com t-shirt.

86-90 The End is Near, Get your contest stuff in or plain out not win.

Deal. I watch 100 movies a year that I haven't seen before. I rate them 0-5. 0 bad 5 good.

Aquaman contest. Deal. only a few submissions. Those who have submitted I will have a drawing for. I will put prizes in a hat. Draw one out. You win that prize. Prizes. Read back blogs. Prior posts. Whatever the correct jargon is. Movies. ON with them.

(86) H.H. Holmes: America's first Serial Killer (2003)
It's not a secret that I am a Dexter fan. Don't know about Dexter? It's a Showtime television series and it's pretty dang good. Watch it. However, Dexter didn't influence my wanting to watch this. My curiosity with Killer's did. This guy. He was brilliant. He got sloppy in the end which is how they caught him, but amazing brilliant at the beginning. His house of Horrors mimicked something out of a horror film. He must have inspired thousands of books, movie, shows and so on and so forth. His story is amazing, he was a highly regarded individual and over time lost favor in the eyes of his town. Almost as if the town knew something creepy was about him, and they decided to ignore it. This documentary was alright. It wasn't Amazing film by any standards or methods. Straight forward and boring. Which is what I can't stand with Documentaries. Here is a story worthy of excitement and the presenter is so formal and Country Club snobbish you want to vomit and hit stop, but the information he finds so grueling to tell you is gripping and keeps you at the end of your seat. He is one of the most notorious killers. The documentary is dry. How can that happen. Seriously How? Borowski I guess is at fault. I mean look at the cover. It's drab, gray and boring. You couldn't find a better photo of H.H. Holmes and his home. Put some actual thought into it for god sake. 2 I could have done this better with my eyes closed out of 5

(87) Swingers (1996)
So I watched this solely because of Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau. It won a bunch of stuff It has lots of accolades. So why not. Side story. I use a quick Google image search to find my movie posters. I had Google Image up. Just went ahead and typed in swingers and hit search the images I saw were not the ones I was aiming for. I quickly yelled and typed 'the movie' Moral of that story. If you want to look for this movie later. Type in Jon Favreau afterwards. Not a pleasant experience. The movie was opposite of that it was a pleasant experience. Favreau and Vaughn are obviously not the best actors in this and are stretching out there wits trying to make it work. The movie however was a solid and stellar script. Fantastic scenes well played out, a bit too 1996 It could be viewed now as a period piece. Good references great storytelling. a solid 3.9 out of 5. Why not a 4. My experience with the movie poster dramatized me and I can't get over the cheesy one liners and the skirt calls.

(88) Reservoir Dogs (1992)
WHAT? I can hear you all screaming that I have taken this long in my life to see this film. I know It's Tarantino. I am aware that I really like his movies. Yes it took me forever to see it. Why? well. I dunno. Moving on. Typical Tarantino. Nothing shy of brilliant. I saw the surprise toward the end coming. when Tim Roth Spoilers****** set up and shot. I saw that coming. It was a fun energetic film with laughs and blood. Isn't that Tarantino's deal though. Mr. Blonde was amazing. Did you catch his name Vic Vega I wonder if he is related. the running gag on Mr. Pink was fun. A solid film. If you like Tarantino you will like this. Close to perfection. Tarantino normally is. 4.6 out of 5. I want Tarantino to do a Deadpool movie.

(89) The Hobbit (2012)
I hate America. I read reviews on this. Some people complained about the story being "too accurate to the book" " It has too much story" " Spent too much time in the beginning in the hobbit hole singing and naming the characters" ARE YOU KIDDING ME. It's the Hobbit one of the greatest stories ever told. It needs to be a long story and told in a epic manner. Show it showed a lot of the country side. It was beautifully rendered and gorgeous country side. Put down your phones, shut your mouths and enjoy what was put in front of you. If you skipped this movie because someone told you it was boring or too long. Think to yourself. Would you really want The Epic of The Hobbit any other way. It was the beginning of the Lord of the Rings. It's meant to be breathy and long. Draw it out I say. Give me all the Shire I can handle. Make it accurate to the book. The book is a legend in its own right. I loved it. My wife caught it in theaters 3 times. Not only that I dare you not to laugh at Gollum and the Riddles. Well done. Bring on the next one.  5 out of 5.

(90) Polar Express (2004)
It's Christmas time by this point. I'm a little nervous I have to get in ten movies buy presents. However, what's Christmas without a classic. So which Classic have I not seen. Tom Hanks Masterpiece Polar Express. I admit I caught the cut TV version which I am sure missed fantastic moments that I more than likely should have seen. Christmas at the beach is different. I spent the days cutting trees for Home Depot and the nights stressing over money because of our recent move. Moving is expensive. This movie was cheerful. Fun. Predictable. Long. Terrible Animation. good for 2004 though. Plus, it did have a wink. Just a wink. Of Christmas magic. Give it a solid 3.6 out of 5.

10 left and movie blogging days will come to an End.

81-85. Aquaman contest news. Plus new stuff on the horizon.

Here's the newest blog. I really don't enjoy this anymore. I will finish out 2012 movies and the movies I am watching in 2013 I will just simply score. If you like movies you should listen to the blog " Doug loves Movies" Doug Benson is really funny and his live stuff cracks me up. His guest are great. The Nerdist crew shows up a lot. Aquaman contest news. I will give one prize per person for this. So right now Joel, Britt, Rachel you get prizes. the rest of you. Get nothing. Well  Anne technically gets a prize. IF you want a prize submit before I finish my blog of 2012. considering It's June of 13 right now I'll want to knock it out soon. Expect a few quick posts here and there to finish it out.

For newcombers, I watch 100 new movies a year. Rate them 0-5 and move on. These movies aren't exactly new movies just crap I haven't seen before.

(81) Born to Controversy: The Rowdy Roddy Piper story. (2006)
Yes Yes I am Aware my movies this year have been full of Wrestling. I apologize, but I'm a sucker for these. I find the look back at stuff I grew up with A lot of fun. Piper is a little before my time, He was wrestling mostly when I was playing in sandboxes and pooping my pants, or not alive. He is however one of the most iconic faces of the sport. His motor mouth changed the game, the feel, and the look of what a Heel in the sport could be. Up until his time most of the Heels in the sport weren't charismatic or witty. His persona in the sport made a difference. He brought us the likes of Chris Jericho, C.M. Punk, Bret Hart, and many others like these guys. He gave the smaller guy a shot at taking on the Champs with their flowing blonde hair, or rippling muscles. He gave the regular Joes a shot. The Motor mouth part launched wrestling into fame. You wouldn't have a Hulk Hogan if you didn't have a Roddy Piper. Production value was low. As normal. WWE has the worst crews of all time. They have no passion, just cutting and editing for time sake. They actually have a scene that cuts Piper's thought in half. He was just opening up about his family and they cut to an In ring promo. Pathetic production. However the Piper footage saved it all. 4.1 out of 5

(82) Wet Hot American Summer (2001)
I saw a movie with a recognizable title. I read the cast members Michael Iann Black (Magic himself) Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Judah Friedlander, Elizabeth Banks, Gideon Jacobs, even David Hyde Pierce and Janeane Garofalo. Exactly how could this go wrong. How about in every way. The ball was dropped on every corner. The gay stuff wasn't funny. the funny stuff wasn't funny. The awkward moments weren't funny. The drugs and alcohol not funny. the kids not funny. This was parade of Un-funny. If you want to see a star studded cast fall flat on it's face. This is that movie. None of these people got close to achieving what they were after. What gets me is it was made in 2001 and felt like a terrible 80's movie. That of course was on purpose. but too bad the stupid 80's movies delivered on the laughs. Where this one came of pompus and irrelevant pretty much like it's writer Showalter. Has he done anything I should know about? The Director however was the problem I think. Lets face it I have seen a ton of David Wain's stuff. He should stop. Now. Just noone give him anything else to do. I don't ever like his stuff. 1.1 out of 5

(83) I love you Phillip Morris (2010)
Am I a Homophobe? No. Did this movie make me feel uncomfortable? Yes. The carry character tore apart the entire life of the mcgregor Character. That's right people I don't care enough to look it up on IMDB. The fun ways of escaping Jail. That was cool. otherwise it lands on the fatal.........................................................................................

1.2 out of 5. Why is all that empty scape there? because this movie doesn't deserve text. Eat it. I mean seriously I would rather watch Bella Swoon in twilight than this crap. It's not a love story, It's pain. The one character just I could kill him with a knife the way he treats his "love" of his life. NEXT.

(84) Saving Silverman ((2001))
I know Right, I can't believe i haven't seen it either. I mean Jack Black is a favorite of mine and so is Steven Zahn. This was fun. I love Peet too. She is this perfect balance of sexy and funny for films like this. The Whole 9 yard, The whole 10 Yard, Somethings Gotta Give. All amazing Peet movies. I loved her in this trapped. So good. I like the concept of the movie. Two idiots trying to save a friend from a girl who isn't good for him. Playing Matchmaker/Kidnapper. Fun story line. Well executed. Black is magnificent. He delivers most times though. The Leading man here Biggs drops the ball though. He was riding the wave of American Pie for a while. At lest until people realized he wasn't what made the movie funny, it was the writing. In This Biggs doesn't hold a torch to Zahn and Black. They are master craftsman and Biggs is a part time funny fellow. Want to discuss Zahn's achievements How about no. Just watch Strange Wilderness and laugh until you cry instead. He us Hugely underrated on every corner. Saving Silverman is a classic. However, not without it's own flaws. Much like my grammar in these blogs. Seriously I am ashamed that I don't proof read, but it's not like I actually care what anyone thinks. It's a blog not a Novel. I'm not looking for rewards I'm looking to give someone a quick little giggle when I say things like Without Peet, this movie wouldn't make a Peep. 4.2 out of 5.

(85) Goats (2012)
First Question. How is Duchovny not a Super Star? Second question. Is Hollywood paying any attention? third. If Hollywood was paying attention why haven't seen so much of Graham Phillips that we are sick of the little shit? The phillips kid was balls out amazing in this. He is a cute kid, why isn't he everywhere. He should have a poster on every teenage girls bedroom. I should hate him by now. Duchovny. Wow. I didn't know he had this in him. This story was heart breaking, heart felt, well produced and put together with soul. Neil is a heavy hitter. Look him up. Virgin Suicides, Being John Malkovich, This was his first Directors job and we need more of him. We need less of Farmiga though. Same whiny sound outta her that you see all through her new show "Bates Motel" which is great at the start and then quickly becomes un-watchable. This Goats movie hits on all corners of weird, amazing, sleezy and funny.  A solid 4.5 out of 5 A must see for those of you who like weird off the beaten path comedies.

New blog 76-80. The next new thing in the Aquaman Challenge.

The Deal. I watch 100 movies a year. Movies I haven't seen before. I watch them rate them on a simple 0-5 Scale.

Remember, Once I finish this blog of the movies I watched in 2012. The Aquaman contest ends. Only 20 more movies and the contest is over. I will only give out prizes according to participation in the contest. On with the Movies.

(76) The Skeleton Key (2005)
This movie was recommended by Anne. We were hanging out one night and felt like watching a thriller. She asked if I had seen this, and I hadn't. I remember a lot of people saying it was good, but never took the time to watch it. The first thing I noticed was how Hot Kate Hudson was in this. I have seen her in a lot of movies and thought she was good looking, for instance the two she did with Matthew McConaughey "How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days" and "Fool's Gold" she was perfectly sexy in those, but nothing like she was in this film. The setting in New Orleans was breathtaking. The Voodoo lore and House was just as much a character as the people. The House was huge and fields and gardens were wonderful. The story line purposely confused you, and the jostling between the old man and Kate's character gave a great sense of mystery and carried the movie forward. The story of the family and the slaves was great and the twist. Yeah. Nicely done. 4.3 out of 5.

(77) ECW: Extreme Rules.
This is a run of the mill "Best of" DVD that WWE released to make extra money on the ECW name. The picture here is of Tommy Dreamer. he took his name from "The Dream" Dusty Rhodes, because that is who he idolized. I am going to talk about Tommy Dreamer instead of the DVD, because this was literally just a bunch of matches with little to no introduction. It was part of the WWE terribly produced straight to DVD documentaries. Tommy Dreamer started out like most wrestlers and didn't really get famous until getting beat so bad by kindo sticks or Philippeno whipping sticks that he spent the next 3 weeks in a hospital.  Then he was the face of ECW. He was dawned the nickname the "Innovator of Violence" because of his creativity of hurting someone in a match. A quick story of his childhood that I heard on a Podcast. Dreamer's first TV match he ever saw as a child was of the Wrestler "Bob Backland" he was hooked and watched every week. His dad for his birthday took him to Madison Square Garden to see "Bob Backland" after his match the wrestler "Backland" told the young Tommy dreamer to wait afterwards and he would sign an autograph for him. Young Dreamer (not his real last name) waited for over an hour in February in New York City, in the rain, for "Backlund's autograph." Backland finally came out and he looked at Dreamer who a freezing young mess and said "I'll catch you next time kid" got in his car and left. Dreamer told Backland about this Years later after Dreamer himself had won more championships that Backland and Backland felt horrible. Two days later Dreamer received a package in the mail with Vintage 1979 Photo of Backland with the a personal Autograph from Backland. Cool Story. Terrible documentary. 2 out of 5.

(78) Chillerama (2011)
Dustin Minnick and Dane Breedon told me this was a must watch. They know me well. I laughed and Laughed and Laughed. This was a crude, gross, cheese infested flick. Zombies. Check oozing blue blood and everything. How did the Zombie infection start? necrophiliac. This movie was set up great. It was a horror film with Horror films inside of it. It was set up at a Drive in. The people at the Drive in were watching the movies that you saw. They talked about them just as you would. The first one had a slimy Monster. He was sticky at first then starchy after he dried. HAHAHAHA. Dancing Gay Werewolves. Jewish Frankesteins. Nazi Death Machines and Nazi whores. Plus musicals. It was something. It was raunchy goodness wrapped in a bit of vomit. I got a little weezy at times and the individual movies aren't very good. Only a few are even worth watching. Scary? Nope. Funny? At times. Ridiculous.? Every single second. So if you like movies that range in its story telling, and make you want to cover your floor in various bodily fluids, some of them involuntary and others voluntary. Then this movie is for you. If you like to keep your fluids to yourself and don't like to see others spewing from various openings. Then skip it. 3.4 out of 5.

(79) Hot Rod (2007)
This movie I had wanted to see for a while. It did exactly what it says it will. It Smacked Destiny in the face. It was pretty funny. The actor Andy Samberg, deserved the leading role and he pulled it off. I'm not sure why this movie was swept under peoples rugs. It's way better than the majority of the crap Will Farrell puts out every month. That being said it's not great. It ran a little long, and it was wicked predictable. Kid is forced to grow up because of a family tragedy. Just as thinks get super great. Boom it all falls apart, just for him to do something great and have it all come back together. So it lost a lot of points for lack of an actual original plot line. It also had lots of great goof off action and it was fun. In a really good way. Some of the stranger things of the movie is what made it good. The Skateboarding in dangerous hills and constant bad wrecks into trees and pool. The cast was also made out of great people. Samberg was amazing to reiterate. Jorma Taccone was great. Bill Hader did his usual. Isla Fisher was super sexy as normal. Will Arnet, Danny Mcbride, Chris Parnell made their presence known. 3.5 out of 5

(80) The Muppets (2011)
Amy Adams+Jason Segel+ Neil Patrick Harris+ Ricky Gervais+Katy Griffin+ Billy Cyrstal+ Jack Black+Mickey Rooney+ John Krasinski+ THE AMAZING NEIL PATRICK HARRIS+Emily Blunt+ Donald Glover + 101 other stars who made quick appearances + THE MUPPETS.= 5 out of 5. Enough said. Watch it. Now.

What's in the Air?

My new job is costing me a lot of time that I normally spent, watching movies or playing video games or reading. This new Job has me driving so therefore I need my eyes on the road. However, I get to listen to music. I want to share what's on my Ipod. I might make this a new thing. Let me know what you think.

J. Roddy Walston and the Buisness. I bought this album. http://www.jroddywalstonandthebusiness.com/

There is the official website. It's awesome. One of the best rock albums I have heard in ages. It starts out with a true Rock ballad. "Don't break the needle" It's awesome as he screams the chorus " I know you hate me baby but don't break the Needle." So good. "Dont grow old" is great, but nothing tops "Caroline"

I have a few things on my phone. I can't say I actually enjoy them as much.
The Killers-Battle Born isn't that amazing. I'm just not a big Killers fan. To those of you who are. Sorry.

Brandi Carlile- Bear Creek. This is one her finest in my opinion. Great ballads like "Keep your Heart Young" and "Raise Hell" make me smile. "Rise Again" is great as well.

Andrew Bird- Break it Yourself. Is pretty good, but it doesn't stand out like some of my others.

The XX-Coexist. I didn't dig it at all.

Imagine Dragons- Continued Silence. It was great. Start to finish.

Father John Misty- Fear Fun. "Funtimes in Babylon" "This is Sally Hatchet" stand out. However, nothing touches how good "Everyman Needs a Companion"

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals-(self titled) I like Grace Potter. This one is great.
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros- Here. Pretty ok.
Grizzly Bear- Horn of Plenty. I don't care for Grizzly Bear.

This next one you are not allowed to Judge me is was an accident that I liked it. I basically listened to it Ironically and then. It grew on me.
Wham!- If you were there. "I'm your man" "Wake me up before you go go" "Freedom" are the only one's I actually can handle.
Grace Potter- The Lion The Beat the Beat. It was really good.Until the end. "Stars" was Just TERRIBLE. "Ragged Company" Might have been worse.

Wham!- Make It Big. That's right I have two Wham! albums on my Ipod. Can't not have "Carless Whisper"

Imagine Dragons-Night Visions (Deluxe) Also good.
The Tallest Man on Earth-Shallow Grave. The Tallest Man on Earth-Sometimes the Blues. I enjoy The Tallest man on the Earth.

Bruce Springsteen- Wrecking Ball. Usually I love the Boss. I like his stuff and his change of pace throughout the years. Listen to the album. "The River" then listen to "Born in the U.S.A." so good. This one however. Was awful. I couldn't finish this Steaming Pile.

That's it.

Movies. 71-75

Breakdown. I watch 100 movies a year. I blog about them. Currently on 2012 movies. The only thing that qualifies the movies as watchable is that I have not seen them before. Which means any era, any movie. On with the movies.

(71)Piranha (2010)
Pretty classic Horror type film. It has all of the classic horror film build ups. Monsters, yes. Naked girls, yes. Kids, yes. Big massive dude going ape poop, yes. You can go on and on about how well done the movie is as what it is. It touches on every aspect of bad horror films from the 70's and 80's. It would have been better if they would have made the piranha's like normal real Piranhas's it would have been a bit more terrifying. It's what made Jaws so good. It wasn't that he was relentless, its that he was real. I liked a few things about the movie. Unfortunately the one thing I didn't like were how the fish looked. It ruined the movie and killed the rating. I did like the kids and how stupid they were and their stupidity is why they all died. That was not only important to the way the film felt, but took it away from the Horror feel and into the Horror/comedy feel it ended up with. This movie went overboard with a few things that lowers its overall score. The first thing is the nudity. I got the point after the first 30 seconds. after the first two minutes it would have satisfied even the worst viewers of movies like this. So exactly why did it need to go on so much longer. It looses points. Some of the over the top non sense was needed, but to continue that for the better part of the movie took away from the effect. Very seldom do you get the perfect feel down for this type of film and you go to heavy on one thing and not the other, for instance focusing on the kids dying and the brother on a porno boat really pushes the film forward so much that it falls flat on its face. 1. 4 out of 5.

(72) Capote (2006)
I have wanted to see this for a while. Truman Capote a journalist sets out to explore a murder in Kansas. This was the Journey the the Journalist took with the murderer and their strange and intense relationship. First off Phillip Seymour Hoffman changed his voice for the film. The real Truman Capote's voice wasn't anywhere near as annoying and high pitch squeal like the Hoffman portrayed. I watched several Youtube videos to be able to say this statement. The story itself just wasn't that interesting. I felt that the Capote character was pretentiousness and arrogant and really just needed a good beating. Kind of how I feel about Liberals today. I said it. Not all liberals just a handful that vote for silly reasons, for instance they voted for obama because they thought "the mormon" president would take away their right to drink coffee. Idiots. Capote reminded me of an entire group of people that I can't really talk too or even relate with. The story wasn't that great, it ran too long. This movie was made for the academy not for movie watchers. 2.1

(73) Cabin in the Woods. (2012)
Some background information on this. Most importantly Joss Whedon directed it. I had been told nothing about it. It didn't do well in the theaters around Roanoke. The Trailers looked stupid, but I had to watch it. This was the End of a horrible day however. It was moving day. The night before we were packing in Roanoke. I packed the entire truck basically by myself. I had the help of two friends for 1 hour and they basically helped me with the boxes. which was a relief. Then another friend showed up to help for about 45 minutes. After all of that cleaning was left along with a little bit of packing left to do. I slept for about 2 hours. Anne didn't sleep at all. Not a wink. After three days of packing and a full night of zero sleep. Anne wasn't alive after unloading the truck and setting up stuff. The Help in North Carolina was a lot more substantial. My dad and cousin Kenny both came down to help unload. We were also joined by my Number 1 and 2 partners in crime Dustin and Dane. These guys watched the movie with me. They were just as blown away as me. This movie was one of the best films I have ever seen. It has such a wonderful plot turn that is impossible to see coming until it's put in front of you. It's a classic horror film at first with hot guy and hot girl with hot sex. Pot heads and rampaging hormones your typical stuff. Then it changes. A lot. A whole lot. I'm not saying a word more. Watch it. 5 out of 5.

(74) Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengence (2011)
Ghost Rider is a great series in the comics, they can touch the dark side and make fun of themselves. I liked the first film. I think the special effects are relatively alright for what it is. A low budget Marvel film. Marvel spends so much on their big series the little guys get left out in the cold to fend for themselves. Of course Nick cages overacting didn't lend a hand and never will to this series. Therefore it's numbers aren't that high. I will have to say that they continue to do an alright job with the special effects, if they just had an actual writer it might not be as bad. Maybe with all of those writers at marvel they should have spared one to write the movie. 2.2.

(75) 50/50 (2011)
I watched this with Anne, She can tell you she didn't like it but all the laughing she did all the way through it makes me feel like she might be lying. The part where the Rogen calls out the girlfriend we had to pause the movie so she gather composure. It's a really sad movie. Really sad, heartwarming, not expected, but there. Gordon-Levitt and Rogen give great performances and the movie really flows well, the disease and the mother are great driving factors throughout and the hilarity from Rogen is great. He also gives us a heartfelt character with lots of flaws that you don't expect to see coming. It's a stand out film and earns it's 4.3 out of 5 rating.

Lots of issues.

Recently, I have changed jobs. This meant that lots of goofing off was afoot. Also, with this new job has come lots of doodling while waiting on the trainer to catch people up or go over something I didn't already know. So below are several doodles, sketches and other things that might lend to you a laugh or two.

This format isn't going to be the same as you are used to with my blogs. I am using the app for the first time. Also, there are curse words in my drawings. I apologize for those ahead of time.

The first section are dolls. I made these dolls out of tape, screws, nuts, bolts, miscut keys, and random materials. These dolls were inspired by a movie "resurrect dead." I hid about 35 around the store. However, I only took pictures of a few.

The second group are on a silver backing. There was a wolverine one that I lost, but they were drawn quickly. About 30 minutes. They are drawn on a paint desk.

The third are doodles that are taking during class.

The first silver one is deadpool loading paint in a shotgun.

Rage comics nothing to do here jet pack.

Spider-Man was under a paint can. He likes it in dark areas.

Batman. Is not amused.

This nerd is playing with an energy sword. Poor unicorn.

Bleeping bombs.

Another Spider-Man.

Night wing visits a pizza parlor on a rainy day. The owner is oddly green.
